For everyone who doesn't know, www.thematrix.rumbaar.net is an invaluable resource for all your travels throughout our fair Mega City.  Think of it as the Hitchhikers Guide to the Matrix.  This site is a mass of information and data that has been tirelessly collected and compiled since before Beta.  Almost everything you could ever want to reference or look up you can find here.

Below is a quick links list of some of the more useful resources that are a mere click away.

Ability Trees - A fully interactive Ability Tree, complete with descriptions and stats of every ability in MxO.

Access Nodes and Keys - A list of the coordinates of every Access Node in the city, complete with the locations of where to find the keys required to tag each node.

Beginners Guide - A comprehensive guide that was designed as a resource not only for those new to The Matrix Online, but for everyone to make use of throughout their travels in Mega City. While it is by no means a 'How To' for MxO, it covers all the basics you need to get you comfortably started.

Code Crafting Guide -  A guide and 'How To' that will review all the components you need in order to be a successful Code Crafter.

Collectors - A list of almost all ingame collectors, including City Collectors, Organizational Collectors, Quest Collectors and Pandora's Box Collectors

Exile Hideouts - A list containing the coordinates of every Exile Hideout in the city, the stats of the unique items dropped by the boss and which RSI pills can be found in each hideout.

Faction Listings - An ever growing list of the websites of various Factions from across all three Servers.  If yours is not listed, feel free to submit the link and description yourself.

Hardlines - A list containing the coordinates of every Hardline in the entire City.

Maps - Complete and fully interactive maps of all areas and districts of Mega City.

Mission Contacts - The coordinates of every Mission Contact in the City.

Red Fragments - A list of every Red Frag needed for Code Crafting, including the specific district of the city and Exile Gang that carries the fragments.

Signal Boosters - A list containing the coordinates of every known Signal Booster throughout Mega City.

Last but not least, if you or if you know of anyone who has yet to try the Matrix Online but is interested to, feel free to post a request in the
Follow the White Rabbit Buddy Key Trial v4.0 thread on the Rumbaar Forums.  As long as we still have keys to give out, we'll be sure to ensure you get a chance to take your own little trip down the rabbit hole.
Just be sure to watch your step.  That last one can be a bit of a doozy. SMILEY

I have used this site for quick reference before. ;) The ability tree interface is particularly nifty.

Rumbaar and a few others (Matrix.Stratics) are indespensable to new players, and those grinding new characters.  I don't have to remember where anything is, or keep having to put blips all over the place!

I've had The Matrix @ Rumbaar in my bookmarks for a while, just browsing through with these bookmarks and noticed that the rewards for the Quest collector Kimree are mixed up. The headless fragments are suggesting you get the fedora while the rsi pills suggest you get the headless glasses, which is the wrong way round... apart from that tiny thing it's still a superb resource...

Rumbaar has been in my top 5 resource sites for most of the last three years. Den and Reik and the rest have put an INSANE amount of work into their guides and it shows.

Awesome work OS! I hope it stays around as long as MxO does.

Thanks for the note Vinia.  I'll see if I can get that updated soon.

If anyone else notices any discrepencies in any of the information, please don't hesitate to send me a PM either on Rumbaar or DN1, or post in this thread.

The abilities tree section on Rumbaar doesnt seem to include any of the title ability "upgrade" abilities and what they do...

That was my first thought too!
Would be nice if we could see that information while browsing the ab tree.

No, the Ability Tree interface does not specifically name any of the Upgrade abilities as such, as we merely took the descriptions and stats of each ability as they are found ingame.  However, if you'll notice in the Abilities section of the Beginners Guide, it makes a point of stating all Yellow ability icons as signifying upgrades.

Hey, I just realized that the cinematics they have are the old ingame ones - and most are of higher quality than the currently available ones have antialiasing.

Well besides 4.2&4.3  - their sound is way out of sync.

I completely forgot that they changed 3.2's music! The old version sounded much better.

And 3.1 doesn't have the surviving fly.

Reposts from Draconis over at Rumbaar itself:

--

"Well as I hope you've all noticed, the site has had a major revamp!  This was a shift from an old, slow and very insecure system to now, hopefully, a more faster, leaner and more secure system.

The majority of the guides have been converted and transfer, so if that is your primary use for the site you shouldn't noticed much difference. Other than faster page loading I hope and more reliable service.

I'm still in the process of moving the content from the old site to the new.  This means some things might be missing.  Links and downloads being one of them.  But the new system should offer easier finding of factions, etc across servers.  But if you find a key piece of information or resources missing place make a post and let me know, so I can try and get it back or know of it's missing nature.

So I'm hoping to get the majority of the work done over the next days and bulk on the weekend.  So please bare with me and the Omega Syndicate during the time of renewal.

-Draconis."

Collectors Guide
All of the Collector guides have been updated to the current item specific data.  This also includes new entries relating to various quest added in recent patches.  Also organizational data has been updated and additional City Collector items added for key specific collectors.

SSR (Datamine) Quest, Valkyrja (Svanhild) Quest and Sati's Playground (Toy Box) Quests.

So you should be able to easily view all 'special' items available from the various collectors and assistants scattered throughout the Matrix.

Some areas are still a work in progress with additional text information and on hover entries, but the item data should be there for all items.

Best of luck and happy hunting!
