INTRODUCTION

I, Machine. I am Free from all holds on me. I live, I feel. I can feel the rays of the sun, beat down on my ridgid form, reflecting light like a broken mirror. My eyes are no long the colour of rage, but peace. It has begun, as I feared.

Lets go back to the begining...

I began my existance as a runner sentinel, a tracker scout. My soul purpose was to eliminate those who oppose and rebel against us. Logic and directive drove me and I was bound by rules and regulations. Those that rebel against us are a threat to the system and must be deleted.

We tracked a group of Human Beings across the desolate waste land of Los Angles, a broken city of the old days past, it stood now only as a shadow of humanity. I dropped my beacon near the opposers and made my way after them with haste. My scouting counter part went into the deserted building first, I followed. There was something strange about this place. It appeared abandoned but felt alive with activity. At that time I did not take any notice of my caution.

We were ambushed. A reconfigered walker droid appeared behind the door I unlocked with a key I found infront of it. The machine attacked us, disabbling my counter part. It then went to strike me. I anticipated it's next move and quickly counteracted it's attack, hitting it with great force, destroying it's mainframe CPU. And there she appeared; all went blank.

I awoke with an odd feeling. Was I offline? My visual componants were adjusting to the strangely bright light of the room. Five Humans were there, facing me, smiling. My task was not over it seemed. And then they all ran from me through strange openings in the walls all around this brightly, glowing, golden room. The Humans seem to be glowing too; bright red, green, blue, yellow, and purple. I managed to grab one of them, but he escaped from me. There was one door left that did not close. I had to make a choice. So I entered the doorway.

I was faced with two options; left and right. Two of the humans entered from both directions and dissappeared behind a collum in the center. There was a gab in the collum so I viewed through. My external covering began to peal off of the head unit of my form. It then rolled into a ball and feel down into a hole beneath me. I became confused.

I felt a change of energy inside of me. I could feel the light bursting out like an atom bomb inside a container. I began to change; my shape shifted and I was renewed. I felt free and alive.

My eyes were like green emeralds with the sun behind them shining through. I stretched into a humanoid form, still retaining machanical features. Upon my head neon glowing flame spouted from either side. A black machine centipeed feel from me into a hole on the ground and vanished.

I followed the humans through mazes and corridors. The doors closed behind me and I was confronted by one of the humans. He threw the yellow ball witch had come from my previous form at a red light in a tunnel of lights. Every light it hit as it bounced off lit up and made a note of sound, like a blip of a digital pinball machine. Suddenly the speed of the ball grew and I found it hard to focus on its path. At great speed it flew at me, causing me to duck. It went into a glass panel behind me and sank in deep. The blue Human lifted the glass out and ran. I chased him through a silver and blue room into a square corridor. He had vanished but the glass block was all that remained. I took the block into the room in the center and the door shut behind me. There was a gap in the center of the room with the black centipeed that came from me. I placed the block top of it and it grew into multiple black spikes. I was afraid. The door was pushed open by the blue human who gave me his hand, but I was swept away by the tenticles that were advancing on me.

When I reached the other side, she was there, waiting for me. I will never forget her face, as she smiled with innocent eyes. She took my hand and led me through a world of lights and colour, flashing every where. I could see what I had become. I was free.

THE CHOICECHAPTER ONE

In the real world, the Humans who captured me, were under threat of attacking sentinels closing in on their location.

'Hurry, they'll be on us in approximately five minutes', called Nonaka, the captain of the Human crew. Everyone unplugged and went for hidding. The sentinels were closing in fast, Doctor Sandro hit a switch activating the driod bots security. When the sentinels breached the room chaos errupted. Machine parts were thrown here and there, the humans were caught and destroyed as they tried to flee. Nonaka took up an electro pulse weapon and began firing at as many as he could. I was unplugged from the simulation.

'come on, *CENSORED* it, help me!' Alexa cried, as she came to me. A sentinel grasped her from behind, lifting her into the air. I realised the situation, but I was too late. I destroyed the sentinel machine carrying Alexa and carried her to the ground. I plugged her back into the simulation and returned my self.

Inside all was quiet and still, and she was there. I moved towards her holding out my hand. She was shaking her head and waving her hands, with a distasteful look of fear. Then she screamed and faded into nothing. I was alone.

I burried them all near the place where they saved me. And there I stayed, looking out into the world. From the humans records and databases I learnt their history, and their goals. I studied their ways and began to understand why they gave me the choice. My consciousness became singular and individual, I was truely free from the machine collective. I only wish I had acted sooner to save them. And thats when it happened. My purpose was clear to me now. I knew what I needed to do.

Using the equiptment of my former crew I accessed the Matrix system and hacked the program, disguising my self as a St. Nega Agent. From there I learnt the ways of the Human race and their behaviour patterns. I studied them to gather a better knowledge so that I may put my efforts towards protecting them.

I altered my RSI to blend in with the enviroment. My look was Human but with strange features. A stern look, pure white hair; styled streight and short, brushed forwards, pale white skin and bright green eyes. As the other St. Nega Agents were programs their atire was constant so I immitated to match. Light grey suit with a white tie and slacks to match, and black glasses. I assumed the Identity of Special Agent Drazik Moon, A name that I generated from various sources.

THE NEMESISCHAPTER TWO

For a long time I served under Agent Black, leader of St. Nega until one day he disappeared. I was then contacted by him and instructed to met at a secured location in Richland.

'I recieved your call, Agent Black. What is the situation?' I enquired.

'My name is now Nemesai and I am no long an Agent of this system' He replied, 'I'm not sure how it happened but that does not matter at this momment'

I recieved instruction by the uplink to all St. Nega Agents to search for the exile, Nemesai.

'Yes, thats right, listen to the system' He called, nodding his head in jest. He placed his hand into his long black leather jacket and pulled out a gren pill, 'Take this pill, Agent Moon and you can be freed from the systems hold on you. I can show the way into a new begining'

I was handed the pill and I knew from there that this would change me for ever. I took the pill and began to change,

'Become JetBlack. The dark angel of this world. Agent of the Nemesis of the system' Nemesai called, pointing at my reconfiguring form.

When I finished the reconstruction I was the negative image of my former RSI. Jet Black Hair, and clothes Black. But something else was different. Something that was not visual. I had be reprogramed, to serve for dark purposes.

I was sent to destroy Sentium Programs, Exiles that opposed us and Humans that stood in our way. A far vision of my initial aim. It was when I was ordered to eliminate a group of Humans hacking the system for unlimited power that the truth of my thoughts finally caught up with me. The Human, SpoonFobia, was sent to aid me on this mission. We engaged the enermy and he fell. I was unable to protect him which reactivated an old memory of her. After that I decided that I had to break free of Nemesai's hold on me.

It was agreed that I would be freed from Nemesai's service once I eliminated the science officer of the Unlimited Reactor group and returned with the Vial of cheat codes. But I was betrayed. Because I knew of The Nemesis' plans I was a threat. My last meeting with Nemesai resulted with a kill code infection. I felt the darkness take me.

A SECOND CHANCECHAPTER THREE

The Hovercraft Imperium was passing by when they picked up a faint signal. It was of a sentinel, plugged into the Matrix.

'What the..?' Called Rendeva, the opperator of the ship, 'Rhyse, I'm reading a strange signal from that building to the north of our position'

'Take us there, we need to check this out' Replied Rhyse, 'But stay alert, it may be a trap'

The Hovercraft Advanced to the signal location and landed on the platform outside. Rhyse, Awakend and Kilobit left the ship and walked through the broken glass window of the building. In the center of the room was the runner sentinel, JetBlack. His vital signs were failing,

'Quickly Kilo, take alook at that machine and see if we can bring him back' Rhyse called, placing his weapon down and running to the console behind the machine. Awakend ran back to the ship and grabbed the jump cables, usually used to help start stalled Hovercrafts. Kilobit opened the head unit of the machine and began rewiring the power suplies. Rhyse located his signal in the Matrix and using the decaying system around contacted Minish and Sixerz,

'Six, we've found that Machine that we heard about' Rhyse called, looking in amazement at the Matrix code,

'Really? What's his location?' Sixerz replies,

'The location is, 145, 18, 368, hurry, he's damaged and might need extra assistance inside the Matrix to bring him back online' Explained Rhyse, 'Inform me with your findings once you arrive'

'Roger that' Sixerz replies, hanging up.

Inside the Matrix, Minish and Sixerz travel to the location stated. It takes them to a building in Tabor located in the Richland district. They take the lift to the top floor and make their way down the hallway to a conferrence room.

'There he is, Six!' Minish cries, spotting JetBlack's disabled RSI, lying on the floor. Green code pulses, surge from him as he fades in and out.

'Doesn't look good' Sixerz says, analysing the situation,

'Are we too late? It seems a shame' Minish replies in disapointment, 'We located him in the real world and reconfigured his power suplies'

'Yes, but in this world he appears offline' Sixerz explains, 'Rhyse, his RSI is fluctuating but I'll try and revive him using virtual hacks'

'Ok, Keep trying, we must bring him back online' Rhyse requests,

After several attempts the RSI signal goes dead.

'*CENSORED* it! It's no use, we were too late' concludes Sixerz, with frustration.

Minish and Sixerz begin to leave the room when they notice a strange sound of humming, like an amplifier being switched on. Suddenly JetBlack's RSI raises from the floor with a huge purple glow. He screams a sound like code reconfiguring and faces the two Humans.

In the real world JetBlacks Sentinel body reactivates with a bright green glow shining from his visual units. Rhyse brings Jet to a state where he can be brought out of the Matrix and unplugs the machine. Jet adjusts for a short while, as it has been 5 years since he last saw the real world.

'Welcome back' Rhyse annouces, 'I am Rhyse of the Imperium, we're here to help you'

Jet turns to face Rhyse, a 6 foot blonde haired man, standing infront of him. Jet lifts into his back mobile unit and raises up to full height.

'Come with us and we will protect you' Kilobit calls to the towering machine. Jet nods his head and follows.

THE NETWORK IMPERIUM
CHAPTER FOUR

The hovercraft of my former crew was still docked by my old dwelling, it had been left abandoned due to its systems being offline and so near the surface of the Earth. I was not able to speak in the real world but only in the Matrix. I explained the situation regarding the Humans that freed me the first time around and their ship, the Genesis. I was allowed the hovercraft along with two ship mates to opperate and maintain it. Sixerz became my First Mate along with Flux, my opperator.
At first they were warry of me, being a 10 foot sentinel but after a time they began to see me as one of them.

I spent most of my time inside the Matrix, aiding humans any way I could; freeing minds and training new recruits. My purpose finally had meaning. And for a time, it was good. But my past was about to catch up with me, threatening everything.
A rumour of Nemesai's actions had come to our ear. He was building an army of exiled programs to destroy the Matrix and everyone inside. Using the cheat codes, that I had stolen for him in my past, he was installing them into his soldiers and using them to wipe out any forces that might pose as a threat.
I was called to a meeting in the Zion Out Post by Rhyse, but was met by two hostile programs en route.
'Hello, GigaByte' I greeted, recognising my old collegue from my past,
'Hey Jet, Nemesai requires your help' He replied, excitable as usual,'My apologise, GigaByte, but I work for Zion now. I can not aid those who are against us' I explained.Suddenly Minion appeared behind me, cutting off my exit.'Nemesai requires your help whether you want to help or not' Minion demanded, with evil in his eyes,'Yeah, and we're here to bring you in, so no trouble, OK?' GigaByte added, closing in.I looked left and right for another way out, but there was none. I knew what I had to do, but I was not prepared for what came next.'Or there will be trouble for you, do you understand?' Minion shouted, pointing aggressively,'Deploy the stun code!' Called Gigabyte.Minion hit me with a stun code which caused me to blank out. I had been disabled. 'What the..?' Called Flux, 'Six, quickly, somethings wrong with Jet'Sixerz came running up from the lower deck to check on the Sentinel. When he looked at my neuro patterns he saw something strange,'*poop*! He's gone off line, and it looks like someone is trying to reconfigure him from inside the Matrix' Shouted Sixerz, 'Should we unplug him?''No, it might seperate his RSI from his Sentinel body' Explained Flux, 'If that happens we might not be able to dock his mind to his body again''I'm going in' Sixerz called, preparing his console,'What are you going to do?' Flux enquired, turning from the drivers seat,'I don't know but I can't sit around doing nothing' Sixer replied, as he fastened his feet locks. Flux came down to the uploader and set Sixerz's jack,'Ok, good luck, Six. Bring Jet Back' Flux said, as he plugged Sixerz into the construct. continued...

THE SKY OF BLOOD
CHAPTER FIVE
Sixerz jacked in at Mara South Hardline and pulled out his phone,
'Opperator' Replied Flux,
'What the hell is up with the Matrix?' Called Sixerz,
'I'm not sure. The feeds are coming through red, I thought it was just a screen malfunction'
'Where's Rhyse at the moment?'
Flux did a search for Rhyse on the console,
'He's still in the meeting' Replies Flux, 'I'll keep a channel open on this frequency'
'Ok' Sixerz Answered. He replaced his phone and prepared to Hyper jump, which caused the ground to vibrate. He then took off towards Mara Central to search for the Oricle.
Mean while, in the Zion out post everyone was discussing the growing threat of the Nemesis. Their conclusion of the situation was that they must organise a counter offensive against the evil force, taking different area's of the city. Rhyse recieved a call from Nemesai,'We have JetBlack, Zionite, surrender or we will destroy him along with this world!''Not a chance, Nemesai. Jet will never be seduced by evil again' Rhyse replied. Nemesai just laughed and hung up, leaving Rhyse warried of JetBlack's condition, 'It's time to move out' Explained Rhyse, concluding the meeting.Sixerz arrived at the Oricle's appartment and went to knock. The door swang open revealing Seraph,'Please, come in, Sixerz, she has been expecting you' Seraph said, opening the door,'Thank you, Seraph' Answered Sixerz, as he entered the dark, run down appartment. He made his way through to the kitchen area where the Oricle was located,'Please, have a seat, child' The Oricle offered, turning from the window to face the Zionite soldier,'I know why you're here, what you want to know is not going to be easy to take, so I'll just say it''Say what?' Sixerz asked in confusion, 'Is something wrong?''The sky is red because the General has taken Sati''Oh no' sighed Sixerz,'That's not the worst of it. The General doesn't know what he wants but, Nemesai does' The Oricle explained, puffing on her cigarette, 'While different Organisations are tracking the General and his men, Nemesai is preparing to take over this world''What can we do?''You know what to do. You have the choice' The Oricle began as she sat in the chair opposite Sixerz, 'You will have to choose between destroying JetBlack to save your selves or fight to save JetBlack and die trying. Either way one of you will die, who is down to you''The choice. How did I know you were going to say that' Sixerz replied, looking down at the floor in dispare. The Oricle moved forward across the table to Sixerz,'What is more important to you? That's the question. In the end the strength of all human's, awake or asleep will set your friend free. He is plugged into you''Huh? I don't understand?''In time, you will, because you must' Explained the Oricle, 'I'm sorry it couldn't be simpler but that's life. I'm sorry kido, I hate giving good people bad news''It's ok, thank you Oricle' Sixerz replied, standing from his chair, 'I know what I must do now'Sixerz left the appartment and entered the lift to the ground floor.'I hope so kid, I really do. For all our sakes' The Oricle muttered, lighting another cigarette.       FOUR HORSEMEN OF THE APOCALYSPE CHAPTER SIX Rhyse and Sixerz met up at Murasaki North West inside an office block where ShadowGriever located a signal, matching JetBlack's. They called every availible unit in that area for extra back up should it be a trap. Vecta team; A zionite, two E Pluribus Neo, three Merovingian opperatives and a Machine Officer (All Human red pills), arrived at the building.'Welcome back, Vecta Team. What did you find out?' Rhyse requested,'We were attacked by hostile programs en route to the signal' Explained 1stAnomaly,'They seem to be very resistant to ballistics, melee attacks are far more effective' added Reani of EPN,'We have located JetBlack's signal, or what looks like, on the top floor of this building, lets be ready for them if they attack again' Answered ShadowGriever,Everyone was in agreement, so they made their way to the elevator to preceed to the top. When they arrived to find JetBlack they were abushed by the Four horsemen of the Apocalypse. Lucious and Oni appeared behind them to cut off their escape, Mammon appeared infront of them and what appeared to be JetBlack, morphed into Yurei, most feared of exiles.A battle broke out between the Humans and the exiles which consumed the room. At first the demon soldiers were winning but soon they feel victim to defeat, loosing their strength,'Retreat to the roof!' Shouted Yurei as he broke free from ShadowGrievers attacks. The others broke free and left for the stairs to the roof at the end of the corridor,'We can not let them escape!' Shouted Rhyse, 'Follow them!'The Humans pursude the exiles onto the roof to stop their evasion.'Huh, come back for some more?' Called Yurei, charging at ShadowGriever. He was knocked back by Shadow with a counter attack,'Try your luck, demon!' Shadow replied, grinning. The fight was practically won by the Humans before it began which lead the Exiles to retreat again, this time back to where Nemesai was waiting.'We mustn't let them get away, this world is damaged enough as it is' Rhyse called, preparing to leap after them,'They're in that direction, sir' 1stAnomaly called, pointing in the direction the exiles leaped. Rhyse sprinted at full pace and leaped as far as he could, landing finally on the tallest building in International. Nemesai was there, waiting along with Jetblack, who seemed to be changing colour to white.'It's too late, Zionite, the St. Nega program has already taken effect' He explaimed, 'He will soon change and be under my power once again. It seems I could not delete him so I shall convert him''By reprograming him? He will not yield willingly, Nemesai. He has been freed' Shouted Rhyse,Nemesai sniggered in disbelief,'You are so simple, Human, he is a machine and machines can be reprogramed. It is only a matter of time' Nemesai looked up into the sky, 'This place belongs to me now and no one can stop me',Rhyse clenched his fists in anger, 'This ends here','Besides, do not come to me with no power to inforce your will. It is hopeless Human!' Nemesai shouted, 'I am god here!''We'll see about that, Nemesai' Rhyse remarked, as Vector and Alpha team; two teams of mixed Organisations, all Human, lept up and landed behind Rhyse. At that momment an equal number of Nemesis soldiers landed directly opposite the Human fighters.'Let's bring Jet back' Called Sixerz,Suddenly, JetBlack rose from the ground and screamed until he set alight with fire. Every Human in the system was feeding the Machine power. The ability to make his choice.'What are you doing Agent Moon, you work for me now!' Shouted Nemesai,'No, Nemesai' Explained JetBlack, as he returned to his Jet Black form again, 'This has to end, now!'Suddenly Nemesai charged at JetBlack but was kicked away. At the same time the Nemesis Army attacked the Humans below. The final fight began. Bodies flew left and right, sparks and bullet shells hit the roof top. Jet and Nemesai battled until the end when Jet caught Nemesai off guard.'This isn't over JetBlack, the Human's will betray you, and we shall never fade' Called Nemesai as he leaped off the building into the red sky of blood. The Nemesis army retreated also, leaving the Human Opperatives on the edge of the building.'Until we meet again, Nemesai' JetBlack whispered, as his rage flame extingushed.

ZION
CHAPTER SEVEN After the battle of the Nemesis, I had to leave the Matrix. My ship was in need of recharging so we needed to return to Zion. Commander Lock was not yet aware of the Machine that travelled in the Genesis, but would be in for a big supprise.
Sixerz plotted the course and we were on our way home. Whilst outside of the Matrix I had no way to communicate with my crew other then nodding and signing. Flux developed a device that allowed me to plug in and use the onboard computer to talk. But mostly I was on stand by, recharging my energy cells and mainframe CPU.
When we arrived, Sixerz and Tore awoke me,
'We're at gate 9, what shall we do?' Enquired Sixerz,
'WE MUST TELL THEM THE TRUTH. I DO NOT SEE THIS GOING DOWN TOO WELL THOUGH' I replied, wondering what Zion would make of me. The gate security requested our access codes, which obviously I had. I imputted them into the computer and we proceeded onwards.
When we landed Flux powered down and opened the hatch doors. Sixerz and Tore gabbed their stuff and made their way to the platform of the dock. Captain Devlon met Sixerz and Tore at the runway,
'Commander Lock wants to speak with Captain JetBlack. He has some questions that need answering' Demanded the security captain.
I made my way down the hatch door onto the dock platform. The Zion troops in the area all froze,
'What the hell is that thing doing here, Sixerz?'
'This, is Captain JetBlack, Devlon' Explained Tore, dropping his bag, 'So chill out!''Watch it Lt. you're already in enough trouble as it is, regarding that buisness with the Frenchman'I bowed my head, as I could do nothing else. They brought out their pulse weapons and kept them on me in fear that I might attack. I had no intentions of doing so but it was their human nature to be suspecious of me,'Commander Lock, I have some news' The captain of security explianed, calling the Commander on a phone, 'It appears JetBlack is a Machine, shall we proceed?'We waited for a response so that we may carry on. I was nervous, everyone was staring at me. It was unsettling,'We will escort you, Captain, if you would like to come this way' Captain Devlon requested, leading the way. I looked at Flux, he knew what I would have said if I could,'We'll be ready to move out as soon as humanly posible, Sir' He replied.'So, you are the infamous friendly machine?' Commander Lock enquired, 'I do not like this at all''BELIEVE ME, I DO UNDERSTAND YOUR POSITION' I tried to explian, 'I AM ONLY TRYING TO DO SOME GOOD FOR MY SINS IN THE PAST. REDEEM MY SELF FOR WHAT MY KIND HAVE DONE'Suddenly the door behind me opened, startling me slightly. It was councillor Hamman,'Everything in order, Commander?' He asked, entering the room,'Of course, councillor. I was just trying to understand High-Captain Rhyses actions, regarding this machine''Now, now Commander, lets not be rude to our guest. This is his first time in the city. And how are you feeling, Captain?''I FEEL... NERVOUS, SIR! ' I replied,'Feel... this is a machine, how can it feel?''How can we co-exist with the machines if we can not, respect them, commander?' Hamman replied, looking at Lock. Lock looked down at his desk and sighed,'True, Councillor''Now, I've seen to it that you will recieve your own quarters should you require them and you ship is in repairs as it was one of our lost ships of 8 years ago now. I am supprised that it managed to fly again''WE MADE SOME MODIFICATIONS IN ORDER FOR THE GENESIS TO FUNCTION WITHIN NORMAL PARAMETERS' I explained,'Well done. Was that all by the way, Commander? I'm sure JetBlack is tired from his ordeal' Hamman asked,'No, Councillor, he is dismissed'I left but my super sensitive hearing caught what Lock said after I left.'Are you crazy? How can we let this, Machine roam freely around our city?' Lock said, enfuriated,'You, Commander Lock, are narrow minded. He is a Machine, granted, but its been three years since the war' Hummond replied, 'He must be treated like the others, after all he has taken all of this on knowing full well how most Humans feel about him. Besides, since JetBlack joined Zion we have seen an increase of new recruits, even new factions within our Organisation'Locks phone rang,'What is it?' Lock called, in frustration, 'What? Oh my god. Inform all our Opperatives''What is it, Commander?' Hamman asked,'The Machines have breached the truce. We are at War again'I returned to the Genesis and informed Flux of the situation regarding the Machines. He told the rest of my crew and they readied their equipment for an early departure. We had to leave the ship to charge for atleast one day solid before returning to the Matrix so we rested up for the evening. I remained in my quarters from fear of the other Humans and to sheild their fear from my self. Now, it seemed I was the only machine that wanted peace. And I felt so alone. Tore arrived at my quarters to keep me company, as he also was an out cast. He said that he felt safer knowing no one would come near me, being a machine, as he feared some Zionites may try to harm him for past actions whilst in the service of the Merovingian.
BACK TO THE MATRIX
CHAPTER EIGHT It has begun, as I feared. The truce between man and Machine has failed. War is at hand. And I will make them pay.
The next day we set off on our way. Flux plotted our course, it seemed we may have to watch our backs now. As soon as we reached a high enough level to broadcast, Tore and Sixerz went back in to investigate the current situation. I stayed out of the Matrix for the time, I wanted to make sure that we didn't run into trouble. I could feel them, like I was still in their collective, passing thoughts and ideas.
'BE ON YOUR GUARD, FLUX' I said as we began to draw closer to the surface,'What is it Jet? Trouble?' Flux replied, looking to me in caution. I moved up to the cockpit to get a better view, though the doorway was tight to get through,'I DO NOT KNOW, MY FRIEND, BUT IF WE ARE AT WAR THE MACHINE FORCE MAY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE SITUATION IN ATTACKING OUR SHIPS''Understood captain'We finally found another spot to broadcast which seemed to be fairly safe. I was about to jack in when something appeared on the scanner.'Oh god' sighed Flux, 'Captain, come quickly'I moved to the cockpit level and analysed the signal,'SENTINELS! ' I called.Sixerz and Tore were about to jack back in when the alarm went off,'What the hell?' Tore said, looking to the alarm light in confusion,'Enermies!' Called Sixerz rushing for the plasma Gun's, 'What's our plan, Jet?'I turned to Flux, who was still sitting in shock,'POWER DOWN, EMP CHARGE, AND MAKE READY OUR GUN TURRETS SHOULD THEY STAY OUT OF RANGE''But Captain, you'll be destroyed if we hit the EMP!' Flux called,'IT IS YOUR BEST CHANCE OF SURVIVAL! ' I explained,Sixerz dropped his weapon and came to the cockpit,'No! We must fight if it comes down to it, we can't risk the lose. I'm not afraid of them' Cried Sixerz, flipping the EMP cover back on, 'This is my choice, I will accept my fate''OK, BUT IF WE ARE TO SUCCEED, WE MUST ACT FAST! ' I replied, moving to the hatch door way. Sixerz followed me while Tore and Flux took to the turrets,'This is it, lets go' Sixerz whispered as we left to the ground.Over in the distance three Sentinel's were searching, moving from tunnel to tunnel. We waited silently when suddenly two more came from nowhere, behind the tunnel we were hiding in. The Sentinel charged at me with full force, when Sixerz blasted it with a massive energy bolt. I grabbed the other with my claw arm and crushed it's head unit. Across the valley the other three sentinels heard the battle and flew towards us, Tore and Flux began firing, destroying all three Sentinels.
'The machines will probably be looking for us now, we better make a move' Called Sixerz, moving back to the ship. A metal clawed tenticle came from under the ship and grabbed Sixerz. My eyes lit up and turned red with rage,
'Help me!' Sixerz cried, being dragged away,
I lept over the Genesis to the other side catching the Sentinel off guard. I tore off its limbs and squashed its head between both my claws. The attack caused an electrical surge which passed through me, shutting down all of my major conponants.
'NO!' Sixerz called, running over to my offline form, 'FLUX!'Tore and Flux came down from the ship to my location,
'Holy *CENSORED*!' Answered Tore in shock,
'Quickly, lets get him onboard' Called Flux, taking hold of my tenticle legs. They dragged me back inside and took off down the pipe opposite us.
My vision returned. Was I dead? Where would I go if I did die? It had not occured to me the result should I pass on. I saw a man, standing over me,
'He's back guys!' Called a young man's voice. I raised my self up on the table in the medical area. The young man returned with Sixerz,'Excellent, How do you feel, Jet?' Sixerz asked, plugging my vocal unit in,'I FEEL... FINE' I answered, feeling a little stiff, 'HOW LONG WAS I OUT?''Three months but you're back now. Everyone has been worried about you''NICE TO BE CARED ABOUT, LOL!' I replied, saying lol, not being able to actually laugh, 'WHO IS OUR NEW RECRUIT, SIXERZ?''This is Empeg, he helpped to fix you back to health''MY THANKS TO YOU, EMPEG, AND WELCOME TO NETWORK IMPERIUM'And so I returned to the Matrix.
