HELP!
ever since the server restart, my launcher gives me an separate error window: "Patch system erro (result codde -47): URL open failed. Patch servers down or internet connection problem." PLEASE HELP!!! AND THEY CHARGED ME TWICE!!  muthas!!!

I've seen this problem so many times and its still not in the Knowledge Base.
Try doing the full system check thing. If that doesn't work, reinstalling seems the only way.

Ahhh patch error 47!
Looking at your screenshot, you have Norton Internet Security installed, the most likely cause of the problem is then that Norton hasn't updated the firewall rule to allow MxO access to the internet again. Normally you should get a popup asking if you want to allow this program access to the internet.
If you open up Norton Internet Security and go to the firewall configuration and then the program rules. If you scroll down the list of programs you should come across one for launcher.exe and it is problably set to deny. Change it to allow, reload MxO and you should be away.

ah ha!! i COMPLETELY forgot to double check my firewall settings.... thank you soooo much, problem solved!!  we have such a great community!
