Good suggestion Havocide:

Killing Superfetch seemed to have solved my problem.  But if I start crashing again, I'll give Vista's compatibility mode a spin.  The alternate launch profiles are a pretty useful feature, too:  fixed a problem I was having in City Of Heroes.

Your firewall is the problem there

First of all get rid of all your ports you opened. Then tell me what firewall you got and we can go from there.

All I can suggest is Windows XP, a Saphire gaming card and good game specs really. Creative Computing suggested this for me..SMILEY

Adding myself to the "Yes its Vista. Wadaya mean no screenshots?" list.

Turned off AA & problem solved.

Even thought the problem is on Vista doesn't mean it's a Vista related problem, it is his firewall. Also i too recommend Windows XP.

Craptastic! Yes, it's just if you really want to play this game specifically you need to switch to XP, but if you want to keep it go ahead.

And the firewall thing. So you opened the ports on the router? K Did you open the ports on the firewall. Also make sure the firewall is not blocking the game from any traffic.

My guide is in my siggy.
