Dear MxO team: Thank you for the work around. All the best to your quest for finding the actual solution. Now I can get the agent suit, whee.

Works great! There do appear to be some shadow issues currently though, based on the camera position when shadows are on high, they change direction. Putting them on medium fixes that however.

That happens to me, screws with my eyes!

I'll try putting the shadows on medium as you suggested.

The workaround did it.  I would say thanks, but that would have been appropriate six months ago.  I canceled my account over this 8 months ago and have been watching the previous thread since then waiting for a solution.  SOE didn't do themselves any favors by ignoring this.  When it FINALLY got some serious attention, the workaround appeared quite quickly.  If something like this happens again I'll cancel in a second and wait it out.  If you see me in-game, don't be a stranger.

Tried the fix & went indoors and it was great, slight lag but nothing i couldn't ignore. But then I loaded a mission & went indoors and it was as bad as ever.

Is their a full config/useroptions file that may solve my issue. Any help is greatly appreciated.

// Resolved - Deleted my old userops config & redid a new one.

OK having come back from a break where my graphics card crashed i started to notice a major lag issue then ofcourse i remembered about this little gem. Glad to know they had found a fix i added the code and...no change.

I'm going to try a few changes remaking useropts etc changing the code around to see if i can fix it... but is there something im missing? put the code in lowered my shadows (after a quick word with BeachHead in game)...still no solution. SMILEY

Make sure its useropts.cfg and not useropts.cfg.txt

Nice one on the fix devs! This was ruining my new player experience back in Nov last year. I just left my toon a few floors down in a warehouse cos I couldnt be arsed with it anymore. When I patched up, edited the useropts and logged in, i have hardly any issues indoor anymore. Except now I have a different problem. Can anyone help with my game freezing/hanging... seems to happen mostly when I'm clicking around my inventory or using vendors.

It'd be worth the mention that did manage to fix it :s not sure how but it suddenly kicked in after a few days of sitting inactive :s The only major problem i can see or more importantly exploit is with players tags. its sometimes an advantage not that im complaining of the extra tracking system ^^

perhaps worth a look into and maybe an adjustment made? >.< of no importance really tho
