Hello all. I just got a new error (-30) saying that the game cannot rename or move a file. I don't know what file it is, but it shuts down the game. This happens when I am trying to update the game with a new patch. I don't know what happened here but I would really like it solved because my account just got a new month's worth of subscription.

1. This is before I get onto a server
2. Error (-30)
3. I am using a wireless Linksys connection (for now)
4. I should have a firewall
5. I guess we would be sharing the internet over a router, but I don't know if that's what is meant

I recently noticed that if I haven't defragmented my hard drive, I get all sorts of file-related problems with games, including MXO, that have tons of files.

Try defragmenting your hard drive, then running the launcher again.  If you still get errors, you may need to do a full systems check.

Take a look at Phi's rather handy guide to troubleshooting:

And in particular, "How to Run a Full System Check":

Post back here so we know if this does/doesn't resolve the problem.

Hope it helps! SMILEY
