Like a pack of wild dogs...turning on one of their own at the slightest sign of weakness.
Hmm...Persephone's mental anguish seems to coincide with the onset of the BIP's presence in the Matrix. I wonder...is there a connection?
(( Blast you. I was about to make a comment about her joining EPN. ))
Woo-ee, now it's really trouble in paradise. This could be fun. But what does she look like?
Anyway, I'm not sure what Persephone thought she could achieve if the codes hadn't changed, but Ms Kroller's dead. The Wicked Wireframe of the West got her, much to our increasing frustration, as will no doubt be made known soon.
((I don't know if it is just me but she gives me this "Neonite" vibe. Like she's *One* with some higher purpose.))
(( Persephone going EPN doesn't make much sense, unless she's *REALLY* got a death wish, since she'd wind up dragging everyone down with her.))
. . . I have no words, other than the hyenas who were screaming for her blood disgust me to no end. This is why my family and I stand for the high ideals that we stand for. Things like loyalty and love and acceptance and valor and honor and individuality and freedom of self expression as long as that self-expression does not infringe on the basic rights of others. Not for mere utilitarianism. You ask me, His Excellency is veering towards the mentality of the Machines. I'm glad that my duties in the Real kept me from jacking in for this operation. This would have gone a lot worse, most likely, since we know I have more bravado than my emotions can really support.
A game. That all must be approached as trivial; for the most part - objectively.
Persephone looks to, now, be providing an opposite reaction and course of action to the Merovingian, in regard to this line of thought.
While Le Patron uses this as an approach which allows for the advancement of not only his organisation and by extension, its Operatives but also for himself, on a very personal level. Persephone, on the other hand, would express sentiment of seeing no value in anything; giving its created and, moreso - false - nature.
Intrigueing, though that with such denigration of genuine feeling, comes the mourning of a bluepill.
"Mad"? Perhaps. But then, who of us is not.
