I just finished finishing mine. I had to change the specs on it cus it was too big for these forums, but somehow was perfect size for the last forums. I added a border and some drop shadow effects. This is my first sig I ever made with CS2

BTW how do I make the white that is around the picture to be see through, like to blend in with the backround. It has a white drop shadow that goes all around it, and I want that to be seen, but not the canvas.

My sig used to be just the picture with no border and emboss on it. It also didn't have a drop shadow. I want the drop shadow to appear to be going onto the forums, not iinto my sig. I have the drop shadow already on it, but the white canvas is preventing it from being seen.

BTW this is being used in CS2 and if anyone has it, and would like to fix it for me I will send you the CS2 file.

For image transparency, you need to set your image background to transparent when you make the new window. Transparent images also need to be saved as GIF.

The only part that will be transparent is the part you see as checkered squares. For example, this image uses transparency:

 

 

If you put a drop shadow on the outer edge of the sig, and made the canvas size larger than the picture and transparent, the drop shadow would show up on the gray forums body field.
