Anyway, it was too fast to be entertaining for a LE, but at least I was able to take some shoots intended for Ookami.

How would a Character crash have truly affected the lobby events? I'm not saying you're poor losers or some such, but I feel the location was a good choice as it led to the use of tactics. Rather than everyone wailing in from all directions, dieing and rezzing. With several choke points you had to make decisions. Decisions that would determine whether you would live or die, and whether Zion, Merv or Machine won.
Though I will say there were so few Machines, I *slightly* felt sorry for them. Nevertheless, Pluribus Neo ftw (with help from a few others.)

Yeah, I know I sounded as a sour loser. What I was trying to say is that the crash disrupted the original flow of events and allowed Zion to take over the lobby first and later the roof. A normal LE in many ways, but as I said too fast. Not the kind of memory I want to keep, but the game still goes on. Now be a good Zionite and go back to rave at your cave, OK? :: wink ::
the perps just a sweetner , its the winning that you take away from it.

Well FH held the lobby when the Fight started, We ran up to the roof once a system message about Agent Pace almost being killed went out. We tried to hold a choke point and a few slipped by, but ya once we got to the roof it was a mess. A sea of players and lag.
I was surprised at the number of Zions, Mervs and Mechs. Didn't think so many Zions would turn up, didn't think so few Mervs and Mechs would come either.
Recursion was Worst Ever. Epic fail in my opinion.

are the times eastern or western @ 2?
I kind of understand what you're saying. And I certainly agree it was rather short-lived. Even with the character crash I think it truly lasted all of 20minutes from their original appearance. I was expecting to see them be made a level 100 or just incredibly high buffs and resistances.
I intially thought that the original crash was Rarebit pulling them off and actually weakening their buffs (Pace seemed to be regenning faster than we could hit her). But I think, in retrospect, there was only a few of us attacking at the time. Then the Zion zerg did truly take over.
I enjoyed the short-lived fighting, and seeing a few people hyper-jump to their deaths. That was hilarious.
I still like how people think that only Zion lives underground. The surface is uninhabitable. Cold. Underground, where it's still warm. Geothermal heating and any other form of power consumption would easily draw the attention of the machines and, without the Truce in place, they'd likely eliminate any non-Machinist outpost they found.
It's completely illogical to think that just because you're not Zion, you don't live in a cave. But...another argument for another time.
