I am playing MxO because I am a big fan of the Matrix trilogy. This is the only one MMO I am playing and I cannot find another place after MxO.

1. The Agency no more attracts me.

2. I have visited some of the websites of games posted above, but cannot find a good one. I am not interested in fantasy world with sword and magic. Though there are some games with city, gun and action, I don't  feel they are as stylish as MxO.

3. EVE looks very cool, but I am not sure I can keep a motivation as well as MxO.

I am most likely to go back to the real world. It's very sad. I don't like the SOE's way replaces MxO with a childish crap game.

I like the way you think, Operative.  SMILEY

Lego online is fun... NOT ... Eve-online is probably not for someone liking MXO... Closest I've found to MXO is "City of Heroes" (and there are already some MXO peeps on there who like it), but then again it's not MXO.

But probably I'm going to stop MMO's for a while... it really is a waste of your life .

There are several MMOs and interesting games coming out if you’re inclined to part take of them.

  • Aion: Tower of Eternity
  • DC Universe Online
  • Champions Online
  • Jump Gate Evolution
  • Dark Prophecy
  • Star Wars: The Old Republic
  • Stargate Worlds

Some that are currently running;

  • World of Warcraft
  • Lord of the Rings Online
  • Warhammer Online
  • City of Hereos/Villians
  • Eve Online
  • Chronicles of Spellborn
  • Dungeons and Dragons Online

While none of these has the unique flavor of MxO, I have always felt in the end playing MMOs was more about the people you play with then the game itself. (your milage may vary)

I can pass out a few 21 day buddy trials for EvE online. It's an amazing game, server usually has anywhere from 20,000 - 50,000 players signed in. Pvp is massive, I've been in fleet battle where there wsa like 400 vs 400 give or take a 100 on each side. I could go on and on about how imersive the game is but i would barely scratch the surface. Expansions are free and they are adding in abulation so u will actually have a character and not be stuck in a ship. Just send me a pm with your email and I'll send em out.

WOW - Yes I can't believe it myself.
APB - Looks neat, just not sure when or if it will come out.
Fallen Earth - Looks like it has potential.
SWTOR - Looks good so far, just so far away.
Champions Online - something I have to research first.

This is why i loved MxO it wasn't full of fairy's and drama trolls.. it was full of win and pwn.

---------------

Not to sure if i will ever play another MMO like i played MxO, Mainly because of how easy it is to have all your work you put into it erased in the blink of an eye. The only game that seems anyway near tempting at the moment is DC Online  the rest seem to be aimed and 4-8 year olds, If that doesnt work out I will most likely move back to console's after the servers have shut down >_>

So I may not be the only one refugee who will wander between virtual world and real one.
Umm.. DC may work but I'm not sure as it hasn't been released yet.

It is true players are more important than the game itself, but it is also true we may not be able to meet people with the same preference if the game itself doesn't fit. SMILEY
