First off i just want to say thank you for everyone that particiapted, i would estimate we had close to 100 people show up at lemone c prior to event starting, and unforetunely there was just that many roles to be filled for this chapter of the event. Being the one person that i am it's hard to  get everyone in the right place at the right time, but i did my best. A special thanks goes out to T4ng3nt for acting as the contact person for the black ops and guard teams, brovo on your performance.  Initially teams were supposed to solve a riddle then complete up to 7 scavenger hunts before finally being given the location of the meeting. As it turned out, the riddle took so long to solve only one of the hunts was able to be given.

Now i ask, and give the opportunety to those that participated and those that wanted to, to give me your constructive feedback on the pros and cons of the My first event.

Thanks for the event Daemonflux.  Surprisingly, there was a large turnout for this.  For which I am glad.  =D

Pros...

Including the PvP in protecting and obtaining VIPs.

The twisted ending.

The RP at Lemone C.

Cons...

The Machines were the last org to get a safe zone for the VIP.

The rules on a captured VIP weren't listed.

The no rez rule was thrown at me at the last minute.

OOC: This is my attempt at the requested player point of view Event recap.

Amongst the mass of confusion surrounding the Council and what their
purpose was, I traveled the Matrix seeking operatives who knew what was
going on.  Jacking in late because of business to attend to in the
Real, I was totally out of the loop.

Suddenly I receive a phone call from Ingus, requesting my attendance at
the Council's place of meeting.  This was a totaly surprise, I was
not even sure if such a meeting was taking place. Perhaps it had fallen
victim to the aggressive nature of the Matrix and it's Redpill
inhabitants, but to my shagrin it had gone off without a hitch.  I
soon arrived that the specified meeting place and greeted by Viscidos,
an Operative for the Machine Organization and Co-Leader of the Viral
Vendetta faction.  He led me to the 11th floor, where we both
found the meeting already in full swing.  To my surprise I was the
chosen replacement for DaemonFlux, she apparently had to leave all of a
sudden and requested a backup Merovingian representative.

The meeting was already underway and the topic was the proposed council
and leader that we were supposed to choose.  Arguements continued
for some time, and all point of views were properly represented.
It was agreed that one leader to run the Council would be too
dangerous, too much power in one man's hand would be foolish.  The
Merovingians proposed that we have 3 members per organization to have
in the council, this way tie breakers can be avoided and power would be
equally distributed among members.  Under the request of the
Machines, all the organizations agreed that each organization can
choose it's 3 representatives, no organization can instruct another on
whom they should elect to the council position.

Although we were violating the rules of our meeting, we chose that a
compromise was best in this situation and there was no other answer to
the problem.  All of a sudden when we finally all agreed on
something Mrs. DaemonFlux came storming through the doors telling us
our meeting was over and to sit down.  We followed the orders we
were given and sat, waiting to hear whatever Daemon had to say.
She told us our decision did not matter, the body she inhabits is just
a shell. She then told us how she had the location of all our code
streams and was terminating our connections.....then the last thing I
remember is seeing a group of Zionists and Machines
fighting....apparently we all died instantly at this instant.  We
received the message from Daemonflux to "spread the word, truces will
not be tolerated in my world".

I ended the night just as I started it, in a cloud of confusion.
It appears someone has possessed the RSI of Mrs. Daemonflux, she was
not the one who interrupted our meeting with such violence cryptic
messages.

Whatever comes next, I hope it does not end with my face on the cold flood.

Overall it was an excellent and well thought out player event. Some things I think could be improved:

Use an established substitution cipher instead of a random one you just made up.

Have a winning org. I know that my black ops team did secure the hostage and bring her to the council first. I thought this meant we won but apparently there was no winner are "everybody won."

Have a prize. We worked for hours on the event and although it was fun in itself it would be gratifying to get a prize or recognition for winning.

Maybe for the winner you could coordinate a party afterwards thrown for
the winner. You could make some graphic banner/poster posted on here
for the party...

I dunno, I'm kind of cheap myself so I didnt know how you'd like to give out money SMILEY

But I'm sure we could figure out something for a prize or some kind of thank you for the winner doing the job.

the only thing I see that would have helped was if you had the rules of picking the black ops and who was on them set in stone before the begining so that everything was ready to go from the begining.
other than that it was done nicely.
thanks
