OMG RAIJINN, I LOVE YOU!!!

When Harry Potter comes out I wasn't going to get on these forums at all, in fear of spoilers, until I finished reading it.  But now... now I can.

*sigh of relief*

No, as I learned with book 5 its best to avoid all human contact before finshing any HP book. "No Spolier" threads included -_-

I had Matrix Revolutions completely ruined for me on a "No Spoilers" board. I agree with Gami :\

I think it's more interesting that spoilers will be suspended than the book itself.

Alright, I'll take your advice and not get on the forums until I'm done.

I promise to finish ASAP.

Edit:  And yeah, book 6 was ruined for me thanks to "SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE" spam.  SMILEY

I never got the spoilers thing, it's like saying you didn't like a WW2 movie because you already knew who wins.

Same for me. For a good book or movie, you won't even care if you know the end, because you'll be so entwined in the storyline and its progression that you won't be affected. Someone had told me the end of Fight Club before I saw it. I watched it and I still got surprised at the end. My subconscious had evacuated the meta-knowledge I had obtained and I was living the movie at its pace, not at mine.

And also I don't know why Harry Potter in particular deserve all this special treatment.
