I really wish these were not added. I know the storyline has had some extreme elements but adding the blue is breaking into a core fundamental about the Matrix.I don't mind players who are paying to go to Fan Faire or just for the sake of getting the item are paying for it too, just how about you don't try to take peoples money just to give them an item cause it's going to be the "only blue item in the game"./shakehead at whoevers idea it was to make them blue, to sell them.At least seeing jeans is a positive step for extra clothing.
Point missed. Nevermind, carry on.
One of my favorite shirts is kinda blue, well like a teal color it looks like to me!
In the actual name it is sky green though if I remember right
Thanks very much for the extra pictures Rarebit!!
I hate to break it to you Aquatium but this isn't the first blue shaded thing in MxO...You have the sky.. yes its actually part of the time system now and shows the blue Sati sky at certain points during the day. Certain dresses show blue during Gaussian blur which suggests there is a level of blue in their inherant RGB tint. Sleepwalkers already wore blue. Bluepills but I don't really think that counts as new age matrix blue as it was original. Blue skies in constructs. Probably a few other things I'm way to hungover to remember right now. Honestly it's a good item in my opinion. It's also a consumer incentive. Theres nothing wrong with that.
This item would look right at home on a Cypherite. While the main points of the films were about a greenish tint and lack of blue in the simulation, I have to say that operatives have a lot more freedom right now despite the current conflict that means wearing blue. Obviously these blue jeans won't be abundant so the colour itself will still be very rare. Although I'd have thought that a blue item of clothing would be better as a LE reward item for a Cypherite.
Still, they look decent enough and those non participating people will still be able to get the more worn versions, although they're probably going to be another item to grind for. Somtimes I wish a new item of clothing would just be included in random drops and have standard non-amazing buffs. In fact sometimes I think the grind for items (Overdrives etc...) should also be in the loot tables from NPC's only incredibly rare, rarer than getting the effect you can get from Mobius, but eh, thats just me, imagine the joy of miraculously looting an Area K off an Unlimit, although any drops like that would probably be low on stability and no purity... /shrug
