So, I was looking at this online, supposedly you can go to Walmart, buy this generic game card for all these games. I see every SOE Station game except (what do you know?) Matrix Online. So......yeah.... can I get a word on this, since I can NEVER EVER FIND a SOE gamecard in stock.
Info: http://www.ultimategamecard.com/SOE redeem page (where you redeem the card I believe): http://www.paybycash.com/soe/codelist.php
point of this thread is what? to upset players more then they already are.. I need positive news, thankx

sounds like he just wants to know if this game card will work or not, why spend the money and find out it doesnt.
Relying on products from Wal-mart?

Which looks way easier than relying on a steady stock of SOE Game Cards....
The reason there is NEVER anything with MxO, is because everything has to be approved by WB. I guess they take to long. So SOE says F it will just leave it off and get it done. Thats the reason MxO is listed on so many things, thats why we dont have fan faire cr*p, or are even listed. But no one gives a sh*t or takes the time ro research so they blames SOE.

I doubt that's the case.
"Sure, you can run the Matrix Online. However, you may not advertise it, place it on your website, offer promotional items for it, or create game cards for it."
Seriously, dude. Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds? It just wouldn't make good business sense for WB to put such strict limitations on SOE's ability to create revenue for the game.
Sorry, but this one is all on SOE.

It's true though, Virrago had a hard time getting things approved for fan faire last year because WB took there sweet time getting back to him. The when we were at fan faire we asked about how mxo doesnt have a booth/items for the silent auction and the answers we got were WB didnt apporve of what they sent it.
It is the case and I do realize how it sounds. Which is why when people that dont know whats going on talk out there a*s and I correct them it sounds like im being negative. All im saying is you can't just blame SOE, it's 90% WB 10% SOE.

TY, and if they can't approve a da*m poster that says Matrix Online WTH else isn't getting approved.
Yup, it's true as far as I've been told by Virrago. WB aren't stopping SOE from advertising etc.. but they want anything like it run past their own legal departments before giving SOE the go ahead because they still own the franchise. I ain't saying that SOE are blameless, if it takes a longer time, start earlier. But yeah it's not "all on SOE".
if they can't approve a da*m poster that says Matrix Online WTH else isn't getting approved.
Now the right question is being asked.
