As 2.7 of you know, I drifted away from Vector in my final months.  I had grown tired of the facsimilied pan-seared macho bullshiit, and my old age saw me favouring Syntax where I could engage in actual con.ver.sa.tion (Kon-ver-sey shuh n) without having to watch my asss quite so much, be given confusing nicknames, or downright hated by those who really should seek alternative, calmer entertainment.  In hindsight, I think those were the initial signs that I was a little burned out, with PvP, at least.

However, Vector was my home server, and I will forever hold it in high regard.  I had genuinely, genyouwinelee fun nights in the Megacity with some genuinely good people.  I may well wrap this up and write a list of those who I feel are worthy of spotlight.  Most of those good people know who they are - I didn't make a habit of putting myself around a whole bunch, so the circles I ran in were somewhat lacking in radial girth.

As mushy and nostalgic these final posts will invariably be, I see even more reason now to not sugarcoat.  I never once gave the time of day to many of you, but many, many more of you made an impression which was never vocalised, but supremely and internally heralded.  Thank you to those individuals for making my playing experience what it was, however your impact was felt.  I suppose to cauterise the wound of those I was disinclined to mix with - my experience wouldn;t have been as rich without you all providing some perspective.  So thanks to yous, too.

Particular battles and occasions escape me, but the residual fondness for the server where I first walked the streets, remains.

Well done, we created quite a community (and not quite the confederacy of dunces the other servers would like to believe).
