Actually this isn't the whole truth to the story and rather misleading. Customer service is still supporting The Matrix Online, as is the Community team, and development.
In regards to the concerns over refunds, as it was mentioned in the FAQ:
"As of June 1, 2009 any currently entitled active player with an account in billing will not be billed again. For players who have previously purchased prepaid subscription time via a multi-month subscription service, SOE game time card or other retail game time card that extends the service period past June 1, 2009, SOE will refund these accounts for the unused time and where indicated will mail refund checks to the current billing address on the account. Please be sure to update your email and physical address in your Station Account as this will be critical to the refund process."
Tell your friends, its now number #2 in the news category!!!!
Power to the People!!!!!!!!!
It's #1
Unfortunately Raijinn, it's the perception of your customers that matters. And since the majority of the CSR conversations posted earlier on the forums that you guys saw fit to delete showed, some of the CSR's were quite willing to tell us all forms of support for the game are done.

What if we sub'd on june 1st and was playing on tuesday? Pleaseeeee can you do something, if you do I promise to sub to SWG
I beleive any player who has purchased before june 1st 2009 should be able to see the end of the game my friend.
Its only right. And from what I see, I guess when I paid on the 28th, its not good enough for me to see the end of something I have been faithfully a part of for years. My subs were always paid, and man, have I PLAYED!!!
I think you are just adding insult to injury with the technical jargon. Meanwhile, we are locked out of our second home.

Take a moment to step back for a second so we can sort this whole matter out. I completely understand what you're saying but there's nothing more that we can say as of right now.
I'm a little shocked that this is still being quoted by SOE Admins. It's like there's a total disconnect between the CSRs, TSRs, and the frontline responders.
Raijinn, are you aware that the customer service reps are all saying that, in fact, the cutoff date was May 28th and not June 1st, which is why so many people have lost their accounts?
UPDATE: Acrually, I guess you are lol, from your other replies.

That's something we are looking into RetroX, it's pretty confusing for everyone who subbed between the 27th and the 1st so we hope to clarify what's going to happen in the near future.

Yeah, actually I've seen you all quote the CSR's quite a bit. I believe that 27th/28th date was an internal date set or something along those lines however in the mailer it did state the 1st as the cut-off. It's pretty confusing for you all (and myself to some extent) but we hope to get this clarified and resolved in the near future.
