I don't know how this would work but if it's just going to be nothing but recyled materials with no change...how about just throwing everything at us at once? Zombies, dire Lupines, Sleepwalkers, Corrupt Spawns, Smithlings and whatever else may be laying around that we haven't seen in forever.

If things are going to go nowhere with the game besides the regular holiday events...what not just throw it all into a blender and see what comes out?

My Anniversary holiday suggestions, as posted in another topic a while back.

What I'd like to see:

  • The concert site set-ups
  • Fan made videos and screenshot/art slideshows playing on the video screens
  • Searchlights (possibly with the now useless ability to turn them on and off)
  • Random level based spawns in select areas of the city (we already have Sleepwalkers in Sati's so how about the Security guys or just random enemies of MxO's past like Unlimits, Kunoichi, PB enemies, N30 Agents, etc.?)
  • New anniversary clothing items that aren't just more black t-shirts with writing on them (or, if that's too much to ask, just make the Blue Sky and Security gear collectable again)
  • One or two of the concert areas to be free for all PvP flagged.. in the spirit of the chaos from the original event.
  • The variance of skies we saw in the original Blue Sky event ranging throughout the entire month.. everything from the amazingly beautiful blue/purple skies to the forboding "city on fire" skies in the last few days of the event.
Sure, it might take just a little work on behalf of whoever is still working on the game, but even some of this would be doable and would be a nice change from Smith.

In addition, maybe a new Green Flame FX for something like 100 Smith Frags or so).  I would get that...love the green flame effect.

Not a fan of the Smith thing, but this is something I could easily support.  The green flame effect given by the green candy is quite cool.

I still say that Rarebit might have had enough time to make new T-shirts for the Anniversary before he left so I'm hoping that if there are new ones, they will be different.. Say white with black text!

Since the Oracle's dead, the mission wouldn't make much sense, now, would it?

I hope it's something different. I always hated the Smith events.

I'd be surprised if they changed the NPC regardless of her demise.  They didn't alter Seraph for the stat hack mission while he was gone and had his Seraphic Vision.  Granted that was a temporary thing, but I saw a few on DN1 calling for a change on that mission too.  Also, how long did it take for them to change the tutorial from Morpheus to Commander Locke?  I don't mean to sound pessimistic at all about it, it would just be par for the course for it to be recycled content.

Yes, with "Choose Life" being the one which requires the most frags to get.

At least it's not "Frankie Says Relax."

The gloves require two Omega Headgears to trade in.

Coincidentally, this is a Pink Gi he's wearing.

I'm hoping they at least change the Oracle in the mission to some other character (maybe introduce the Priestess, aka the lovely woman in white who answers the door in the first movie when Morpheus and Neo meet with the Oracle). But yeah, they do need to give the anniversary event a little more oomph.
