Anyone else played the demo yet? I like how Alma is more "in your face", but it just seems too colorful compared to the last ones.
I got turned around in the school hallway half a dozen times, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't just me turning around. Those hallways... *shudder*
Also: True reaction during the whole demo:
"FLICKERING LIGHT! KILL IT! KIIIILL IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!! *ratatatatata*"
must admit despite the suroundings being bright the game still scared the pants off me.
My only quip at the game is; I don't have a widescreen monitor so when I run a game at 1024 by 768 I don't expect it to have a massive black bar along the top and one along the bottom as if it expects me to have a widescreen monitor I want to play full screen not like I'm Watching a movie.
But I had same reaction as zippy to everything, having played all the other F.E.A.R games I've learnt to shoot everything even if i run out of ammo
The school scared the absolute crap out of me. The whole setting, and what happened it there, I was on the edge of my seat throughout.
Full game available for download in.. one minute. Probably out in stores now, wouldn't know.
You can tell they spent a lot more time focusing on combat than they did on actually trying to scare you in this game. Don't worry though; if you're planning on getting this game for the story/scares, it all pays off eventually. I just finished it... and now I'm gonna go lay down... for a moment... FLICKERING LIIIIIIGHT!!
I just finished it too.
According to steam it took me 6.7 hours to finish the main story line on normal. Now don't get me wrong that is short, but I enjoyed every bit of it, I feel there should have been more to it but I can't complain.
I still have the multiplayer to try yet though.
I tried the demo on the PS3 and was thoroughly disappointed. It just didn't feel tuned at all, and nothing was subtle.
