Spy-style and weapons

I have reported this a number of times but having once equipped a gun, it is extremely dificult to use the spy-style for IL combat......the guns reamain equipped unless I select self defence for both the IL AND Free fire attacks, I thien have to reslect spy style......generally two or more rounds of combat have taken place during this time, am I recieveing the appropriate buffs during this period, tbh I dont want to fight with weapons while in spy style, cepting knives...am I doing something wrong, is this how its meant to be or is it an unresolved bug?

also, i'm having trouble with the disable evade shield tool. how long exactly is the length of time you are popped out of sneak? I've only been able to try it a few times in pvp, and every time i pop out i freak out and jump away before i pop back in because the target turns around to face me (bok bok chicken! lol)

i'm really trying to learn this tree!

Well try it on a friend who is in another Org. Just go to a selcluded
place and turn on the PVP and do some testing. I am a Zion org
if you need someone to test on - Recursion Server. Make sure both
of you have no code on you if you do it SMILEY

ya i'm thinking that's what i need to do also. i suppose it would work just as well to duel a faction mate!

Yes you could do that also, but I always wonder on someone in your
faction or org being able to see you a little better than an opposing
org in PVP

You pop out of sneak for about 1.5 seconds, unfortunately a lot of factors stop you from going back into sneak and you can be caught very easily in il. At the moment its just about an acceptable but I fear once opponents gain a bit more experience on cr2 actually hitting ppl this way will be all but impossible.

That argument is yet to come lol, but back to th spy-style with weapons but which is really annoying!

Yeah, I hate the way self defense keeps returning and i can't even re select spy style half the time.....

This is still a serious problem, atm I am avoiding using weapons for free fire because as it takes upwards of 5 steps to return to spy-style in IL - the weapons need to deselect when spy-style is selected as they do when KungFu is selected.

Your lucky I have to get into IL to reactivate my spy style. It constantly changes for me weather im weilding a gun or not. Most the time it takes forever to change back unless I use spy style to IL then roll out witch is annoying just to go back into self-defence and what is even more annoying is that ever time I go to do a stealth attack I switch to self-defence and miss 90% of time. I have all my attributes into accuracy as well most my clothes give accuracy. Good thing is that we have discovered that if you sneak you wont miss / switch to self-defence " as much ", but when disguised / invis almost every time I switch. As for the disable evasion shield, spys aren't meant to me Main Tanks / DPS. Mainly a support killer / invis killer. I found it useful to have a friend interlock them when I bring their shields down and I would get ready for the next victim or go start chunking knives. I feel same way about useing gun's pre-CR2 I would only hold them for thier ranged bonuses. I would also like to see find weakness skill able to use in sneak / disguse/ invis without breaking like the snipers have " aimed shot ". By the time I use it then use sneak you have be hella fast to use stealthed attacks before the buff runs out and if they got a shield no time at all.
