Dual Pistol Dash, when used after an attempt on a shield, does not have a re-use timer that blocks us from using it. Obviously, the ability cannot be used until the opponents shield is down, however, upon breaking an opponents shield there is still no timer blocking us from using the ability so it looks like a viable ability to use - when you try and use it the IS is drained from you but the ability does not go through. All I'm proposing is that a timer be placed on the ability, blocking us from using it until that shield attack timer has reset - preventing any loss of IS.
(My shield too a hit which is why there's a small amount of IS missing, however, if it hadn't there would be a red section stretching from where it ends in that screenshot to the far right of the IS bar, representing the IS drained for attempting to use the move)
As you can see, the re-use time for me attempting to interlock has started but there isn't one for dual pistol dash(ability 6 in from the left), which would prevent un-necessary IS drain.
Dual Pistol Dash will not work when:You are still in the "evade-break" animation (no matter if the opponent has a shield or not). The enemy is in the "evade-break" animation (ditto). It uses up IS but will not be used itself. The IS used will be highlighted orange like IL abilities that are on wait.
That's pretty much exactly what he said, just rephrased.
Good idea though, I'd love some sort of timer on the ability just like the interlock timer, where you can't even click on it, or if you do you don't lose all that IS. I remember doing it a few times before I knew better (still do sometimes on accident) and end up starting an interlock session with half or less IS.

I cant remember exactly but doesnt it also drain IS if you try and use it on someone whos already interlocked?I know thats a stupid thing to do but accidents happen and it should come up with the 'too many combatents' error instead of stealing IS imo.
