I never knew how much i hated this ability until i was trying to capture video clips and screen shots.
The ability is : Intensify Damage. Personaly i feel that there is no need to display anything like this.

Here are a couple of images showing the ability at it's worst. Sorry for the size of the second one.

If you feel an ability should be toned down, then let it be known in here.

What's even more rediculous is the clap/clap animation before the glowing light... UUAGHGH...

I use that one a lot... and I also think it should be toned down massively in appearance.  I don't mind the clapping beforehand, as I almost never use it outside of a fight, but the big yellow burst is way too much.

my only prob with this ability (as i be postin in a topic called 'intensify damage' that no one read)
is that it only does +1 melee damage.  *CENSORED*!

clap clap then a "**bleep**" Joe Cocker Hokey Pokey rendition LOL

it was better a long time ago when the hologram console thing was the animation.

Agreed, that animation is crazy. Needs to be toned down to a gentle glow rather than a godly radience, especially for its lameness now.

If we are talking about animations that need toning, shouldn't it be in the animation forum?

I think that Enhanced Dodge needs toning down.  It effectively doubles all of someone's defense stats, making them incredibly hard to hit.  I counted once, and I went from hitting someone 7 out of 10 times to 1 out of 10.  Buffs are nice, but this one is nonsense.  Especially when compared to the Dodge Aura, it is way out of wack.

No, we are talking about abilites. Animations are completely different.

Umm....look at all of the posts above mine.  No one is talking about the effects of the ability, they are just talking about the "godly glow" animation. If you want, I could quote all of their posts and highlight the word animation, but then you might feel dumb, so I won't.  Even your original post was just pictures of the animation.  If you have a problem with the effect of the ability, you didn't say so.

I repeat, animation issues in the Animation Forum.  Ability issues in the Ability Forum.

No Moderator has moved this thread yet, so it's just fine here...

Aside from that, I have to fully agree with lowering the magnitude or even removing the huge glow that comes from using Intensify Dmg. NPC's tend to use this one very much, and it doesn't seem to look right in combat, much less images and captured video.

Fine then, I just won't even try to make sense anymore.  Put what you want, where you want.
