It may or may not fit in this topic, but I figured I'd post it here anyway... Anyone have any particular tips for taking on the Lupines in Creston museum?

They're only level 53 or 54 or something, what exactly is giving you trouble?

Do a barrel roll. Honestly though, I'd say have someone load Disguise and recall and bring one or two MAs/Duelist to the spot where they spawn and maybe a Ugrade Master. They're not that hard to take, being as they're level 53 (I think).

On my own and as an MA, all I do is load Basic Sneak to get down to the room with no hassle and then use up the rest of my memory slots with MA abs. Stay on the balcony and aggro one at a time with Hyperdodge and Block, they usually take a pot shot at you before running up the stairs. While they're on their way up I move my arse to the hallway prior to the room (where the overrides are) and interlock them when they get there switching to Hyperblock when in IL. The rest is cake. Its a bit harder if you aggro 2 but still nothing too bad if you have good Melee and Ballistic Defence. 3+ and then it starts to be a struggle.

What i do is load MKT, use disguise to get myself into the stairwell between the lupines and the override dudes and then try and pull the lupines one at a time into the stairwell, cripple, disguise, punt and you know the rest. can take a while, but i'm not usually in a rush Also take lots of silver bullets.

I made the run with one other guy; he was a Duelist and I'm an SMG Specialist. Another time, I made the run with a Howitzer: area of effect hacks FTW.

Thanks for the help. I haven't had any luck pulling them one or two at a time seeing as how they aren't visible, but obviously it's possible since that's what so many seem to recommend. My issue wasn't one or two at a time, that's not bad at all. My issue was more like 3 or all 4 at once, but if they can be separated it should all be good. hehe

They walk around in that room so if you can't see one from the balcony straight away, you can wait or try pulling from the bottom of the steps. Like other spawns (as far as I'm aware) they respawn shortly after they've all been killed so you may only get one or two in the room when you first get to it. If so, kill 'em and then when they respawn pull them one at a time from the top. Should get the claws in no time.

We take a team, one goes in disguise with recall and some heals, then calls the team to the stairway. From there on in it's crazy fun. They drop claws pretty quickly.

I understand why people like to recall or disguise into the zone but frankly it's not very far and any load should be able to brute-force their way down. I do like this kind of encounter though. It lets us reuse old areas for new purposes and gives first-timers something weird to look into.

Tried the one at a time thing earlier, and it worked very well. Only pulled 2 at a time twice, and that's more than managable. Thanks again for the tips. I didn't find they dropped the claws that often, but they did keep dropping Coder Subs (red frags). Maybe the lupines are planning to overthrow the Merovingian with an army of sims...

I noticed this too. At first I thought 'uh oh, Rarebit made them drop the wrong thing' but then Claws started turning up as well so I just mentally shrugged and kept going :)

1) use a health boost before you get there 2) have a few stacks of heath pills 3) be sure to have your guns and karate/kung fu loaded 4) shoot first when you can, then if you need to interlock use karate/kung fu with the grab or power hands 5) have some backups with you
