Lilly Shaffer rushed out of the club, going the opposite way of her new friend, an odd man named GamiSB. They had been talking about the past, and he cleared away some of her confusion, telling her about two groups of 'terrorists' named the Cypherites and Zionites.
Gami recieved a call from his operator warning him that Agents were homing in on his location just when he told Lilly Fygment's role in all of this and her Real Name. Instinctively, Lilly felt their presence as well and became uneasy, fleeing the scene and returning to her home.
The two Agents allowed them to escape unmolested and remained in an alleyway behind the building.

"She is learning too much too soon.", one of them said to the other.

The other Agent responded, "We fear a relapse if this continues."

"We could protect the investment somehow."

"Yes. A way for her to have Us on call. Agent Gray felt much the same."

"How should we proceed?"

The two Agents simultaneously touched their earpieces.

"This is not standard procedure..", one said to the other.

"Fygment is not a standard subject.", his partner told him dismissively, "We follow our orders. I will ensure that she 'finds' a badge along with other implements of a police officer and a letter detailing a dismissal from another city."

"Prime will modify her memory accordingly while she sleeps. I will contact her tomorrow and inform her of a job opening in the International police district."

"Investigating occurances of 'terrorist' and 'redpill drug dealers' under the guise of a police investigator will soften further blows to the subject's psyche and provide a bulwark against awkward questions."

The two Agents nodded to eachother and went their seperate ways.

He sat steadily in a frayed, timeworn leather-covered chair of the most peculiar dark red shade. He was looking out a window at the recently returned storm outside in the city--The red light district in the Slums, to be exact. The man in the red chair pressed his fingertips together, as if about to clasp his hands in prayer, and continued to stare out at the world. Seeing through the world, even.

For nothing in the Matrix was truly real.

He thought of many things as he sensed the world changing around him. Any fool should know better if they think nothing changes. Atoms and microorganisms; wind direction and sunlight. Even the incessant pounding of droplets on the glass portal in front of him set into that gritty wall with peeling, cracking greenish-beige paint.

All a part of a computer system.

She knows something about him. To think she went so far in her previous lives, even being in such close proximity of him, and all to show for it is a wish granted and Truth stolen from her. Like Plectrum.

The man in the chair, Sykin, had in his suit-jacket's pocket a case with two capsule drugs inside. One had the potential to change someone's life forever. The other caused a relaxing night's sleep; the kind where dreams were blurred and forgotten with the rising of the sun.

A door opened behind Sykin in his chair. He stood and faced the newcomer while his hands clasped behind his back like a soldier at ease.

"Good evening, Joseph. As you no doubt have guessed: I am Sykin. Are you ready to learn the Truth?"

During his rhetorical speech to such people as the one he spoke to now; such people as young hackers, conspiracy theory lovers, radical anarcists, drug addicts, math teachers, English majors, troubled high schoolers, detectives who couldn't crack a certain case, even average people who might have seen odd and unexplainable things in their normal world...

He couldn't stop thinking about what he should do about her. Do I risk it all...

His visitor took the red pill. Like everyone else Sykin presented the Choice to.  "Good, Joseph, very good. Now... Follow me."

...And ask Alice to fall once more?
