((Hello. My name is Steelle. My name has been brought up a few times in this discussion and I feel that it is necessary that I speak for myself. I am a First Mate on one of the ships in GamiSB's faction EPN and the first thing I want to say is that I think Gami does have a point in what he says. Now I'm sure your first reaction to that is that of course I would support my faction leader but I hope that this community is smart enough not to jump to conclusions so quickly. I remember what drew me to this game more than anything, and that was the promise that the players could be the ones who sculpted the story, that when we took part in events, our names would go down in the history the The Matrix. In some cases this is true. Players have made a name for themselves in this game. Who doesn't know who Tseng is? Who hasn't heard of GamiSB, or Havocide. There are countless others and I don't think it matters if I mention them all so I'll stop there. My point is that everyone will want there place in the spotlight. People want to be the topic of the "Water cooler"discussion. And I think that what this boils down to really. I, as well as others, have mention in passing before that it would be nice if the players that went that extra bit to be commended. Now maybe this is just a matter of the sizes of each of our egos but really, I think given how easy it would be to note those who helped out, (or maybe it isn't) and that this is something that was in one way or another promised to players, not to mention its been done in other LE posts, I think we could avoid a lot or future problems if we just gave those who deserve it a pat on the back. Finally, I would like to wrap it up speaking from my experience. I got quite the rush from being such an integral part of the Live Event that I was a part of. Now someone mentioned that I was given my congrats during the event and it was nice to get that, no matter how lost it was in the sea of spam. And yes, I was given a Perpetual Headlamp as reward and I really enjoy that reward, as I have since built a commando outfit around it. But I will not lie and say that I wasn't dissapointed that I wasn't personally mentioned in the post. I just don't want this matter to tear our faction apart. The truth of the matter is that well...You'd be amazed the difference it makes to be noticed.)) Steelle

For two years we have held the gates of Zion as Morpheus ordered so very long ago. How often are the True Believers given a pat on the back eh?
I have worked hard to protect Zion, regardless of what the Council or Zion command thinks I should be doing, and I will continue to do so.
Many of the Kids followers say they are on the side of Zion... but then why the hostility towards us from some? Towards me?
Before there was an E Pluribus Neo active within the Matrix the Believers held the flag of Neo aloft.
One would think we would be brothers in arms.. or at least friends .. instead there are accusations and hostility from some.
Once upon a time I often recieved invitations to Micheals meetings. Those dried up rather suddenly long ago. But did I cast accusations at people? No. I accepted it. Just as the followers of the Kid must now accept the decision by Zion Command. You made the choice to leave Zion and follow the Kid on his crusade. Surely you must have realized there would be consquences.
We fought side by side. Bled the same blood. Accomplished the same task.
And then I was forced to defend myself through words from people I thought were our friends.
Do you really think this is what Neo would want?
Regardless.. I would still like to thank The Kid and his Liasions for accepting the help of Zion.
