If they are still in interlock animation sets then the best chance to reproduce the animation would be in a confined hallway where you and your opponent would be constantly up against the walls. Also you dont need to use npcs only. The animations sets for interlock do not discriminate player vs npc. So in theory you should be able to get it to happen with two players just fighting in close quarters.

That is one sweet video...and I love that other type of wall kick.
Hey, that Shadow Razor arm-takedown type move I've see in some of the posted graphics...I think I may have had that one done to me while playing Rellim today a few times. I didn't have fraps available though (was mobile gaming...don't have it installed on my laptop)..but I'm quite sure I was taken down a few times today with that move.
OK couple of questions
1. Is it an entering IL move (like most reports say) or a during IL move (like Rellim's video)?
2. Is it your back that needs to be to the wall (like Rellim's vid) or the enemys back (like exsuscito's report)?
Karate Wall kick #1 (The Dive Kick) was done with your back squarely to the wall.
Karate Wall Kick #2 (The Step off kick, aka the Shadow Wall kick) was actually done near a wall, but at a slight angle to it.. or at least that's how I usually ended up seeing it. When I had my back square to the wall, I almost always got Kick #1 instead. Or perhaps it was an issue of distance. Closer to the wall gets you kick #1, a little further away gets you kick #2. *shrug*
I can personally confirm that there are definitely 2 wall kicks for Karate. Back in CR1 when I was doing them, I only had Karate so it couldn't be anything else. lol The good old days
I can't wait for the wall kicks to come back.. Just two more weeks. ^_^
Speaking from alot of experience on the wall kicks...
The best way to get them is to have a player who is at least 10 lvls below you... You back up to about 2 meters from a wall and have the lower level player stand about a meter in front of you. The person wanting to perform the wall kick is the one who has to initiate the interlock... That's your best chances. NOTE you must be absolutley in line with the wall behind you... You'll know if you are not or if you are not at the right distance, because your character will be moved sideways in Interlock. Happy hunting
indeed there were two for karate. one was a backflip on to the wall, and leaping off to preform a classic boot to the head. the other was a simple turn around, jump and, again, introduce your foot to their face. the difference was small, but still there. some one once told me they were suicidal butterfly kicked by a succubus off of a wall in CR1, but i never saw that for myself. i wonder if that is still there, if it even exists?
