If you take a look at the site, it seems to be coming out for ALL platforms, including PC - except for the Gamecube - which is a bit of a bum deal to the GC owners - but still, you will be able to play on PC :smileywink:
-Oh and I also accidently posted the same link twice earlier, so the place with the more detailed info is here: http://www.atari.com/us/games/matrix_pon/pc

I heard it is a button masher, I am not a button masher. . . this is why I don't play games like mortal kombat or any other fighting game, I just don't have the hand coordnation for that. . . Though it seems cool, I'd much rather spend my money on  Fable for the PC when it comes out.

If they had maked MxO a button dasher game it would have been twice as cool.

Yeah I can't imagine what it would be like on a PC. . .

Behold.

Now I have to make the choice between MGS3: Subsistance and the Path of Neo. Great.

Sorry, but I can't bring myself to be massively excited about a rehash
game (despite the additions they'll make).  If I wanted to "relive
the Burly Brawl" then I'd watch Reloaded.

In fact, you can't truly relive any of scenes from the movies.
Even if you could perform the exact moves at the exact times as in the
scenes in question, you'd still have the NPCs running around doing what
they please.

Dude, what fun is it to completly copy Burly Brawl when you can receate your own version and actually be Teh 0n3!  I
think this wil almost be more fun than MxO lol....except for the fact
that you don't have as much exploration capabilities, and the replay
value will definitely be much less.  But hell, it still looks
pretty **bleep** good to me...

*crosses fingers*  I just hope it's not being overhyped like MxO was...

Over-hyped?

"...Players will even be able to recreate the end of the first movie by
gaining the ability to jump into their opponents and burst them from
the inside."

"...What really put his demonstration over the top, though, was that he
then added a second layer of Smith's to the existing 750 for 1500 total
Smiths in all. The framerate still didn't take a hit, each and every
one of them were animated, and all of it was running on a PS2 dev kit..."

"...Admittedly there are some cool ideas in here (like the ability to play
an old samurai training game in black and white, or using your
performance in the first stage to gauge the difficulty level for the
rest of your game)..."

Still no sign of a release date. I'm hoping for an early November one
seeing as that's when they like to ship out stuff for the holidays.

I watched the tariler like 4 billion times and got to play it several
times at E3, Los Angeles' Entertainment Expo. You all should know what
E3 is, and if you don't, DETH!!!

It is so sweet. There are similarities to both MxO and to Enter the
Matrix. Of course, it plays almost entirely like Enter the Matrix game
from several years ago, the exception being that you obviously only
play Neo.

At E3 Atari was pimpin' the demo out. The area where you got to play it
(one place, anyway, they had about three other arcade systems for
demoing the game) had a Hovercraft chair! Looked awesome! Also had
about 6+ screens to watch yourself kick *CENSORED*, and more screens
vertically to show Matrix code "raining." Some smoke froma  smoke
machine and a bunch of cables that they told me were real that powered
the many, many screens and systems in the room.

Two demos that were available: the lobby shootout from The Matrix 1,
and a brand new area. I forgot the name, but it was a construct-like
area where Neo played in a snowy Japanese garden area, in a kimono and
all. He weilded a sword and slashed through enemies that were
reminiescent of those at the Yuki construct. If Neo looks cool
recreating the lobby shootout in this game, he looks even MORE pimp
slashing with a katana!!! Finishing move are PIMP in this game. The
whole level was black and white until you killed an enemy, and then
green code would emanate from the body like blood.

If anyone's interested, I have pics of me and a buddy of mine (MidnightMeadows here in MxO) demoing this freakin' sweet game.

Sure am interested, DeviWolf.

In the lobby shootout was Trinity in the level? If so what was her AI
like? Did she act almost human like? Did she perform moves similar to
those you see in the movie?

Here you go, Romav.

Some of the many screens that a player could use to demo the game, as well as the vertical screens for the Matrix code.

A gamer press guy who was demoing the game in THE CHAIR. You can see some of the cables and setup madness, too.

And finally, me in the chair. I look like crap, forgive me.

Also, for you true gamer fans, Zelda: Twilight Princess painted on the stairs! HOW DARE THEY STEP ON LINK'S FACE!!

To answer your questions: from what I remember, Trinity's AI was um...
lacking. They wanted to make sure that you, the player and the person
demoing the game, would be the one taking out all the SWAT lackeys and
security guards, I suppose. She performed some cool moves, but Neo's
the one you're watching anyway.

The game was quite difficult. If you were trying to take it easy, you
would definetly be killed. It kind of is a button masher in a way. One
button for dodge, one for jump, and I think two for attack. Combos involved in the O and X buttons. There was a
focus button as one of the PS2 triggers, probably R2, just like in
Enter the Matrix for Neo to do some really sweet bullet time stuff.

My hopes are that the AI for both helper NPCs like Trinity and also
enemies will be vamped for the game. I hate really stupid enemies that
make the game tough only becuase they have really fast moves or high
defense. It's better when you have to think about it. But with the
dodge button, it does make the game a little better.

Yes Midnight gave us the full treatment and flashed pics in front of our faces of E3 at the PON area.

It seems like the game will be like Devil May cry 3 inside the Matrix... Only better. I'm digging it.

LOL, yeah, seeing as I am the one who took Midnight to E3... heh heh. I took some of the pictures anyway, I get to post them too, lol.

For those of you who've never played Enter the Matrix, then yes, it's kind of like Devil May Cry.
