Here I am with yet another silly gun question SMILEY

Is there any difference in combat between dual and single weapons that have the same base damage/range?

I have been assuming no, and that you merely need duals for certain special abilities. But I've made bad assumptions before, hehe.

Anyone have a definitive answer to this?

I believe dual handguns fire faster, but hit for less damage each time, while single handguns hit harder with each hit, but fire less frequently.

Probably worth mentioning as well that the Single Augmented Redpill Special single doesn't have a -3 Acc but the duel version does.

Ahh, thanks Zud!

I guess i haven't noticed whether the re-use timers are all that way for dual vs singles. Will have to check it out.

It also be worth to mention [as some probably do not know] RoF does not affect interlock.  Only Free-fire.  Also, it will still rotate off at the same speed, but 'un-grey' quicker.

Dual guns look cooler in bullet time. Do it.

Well, except for the speed tactic finisher with single handgun where you stand on your right hand and fire at the enemy's head as he's on his knees. That's just plain awesome in bullet time.
