Everyone knows the SPL doesn't count.  It's like 'The Bill', all the chewed up and spat out players go there when there's no other option.
LOL, stop being in denial about your love for it!

Lets discuss Liverpools emphatic midweek win SMILEY

If Liverpool win it, chumps. SMILEY

Man United will do it this year, just. Chelsea second, Liverpool 3rd, Arsenal 4th. Aston Villa will get 5th and Man City 6th.

Relegation fodder: West Brom, Stoke and as much as I hope Newcastle I think..Bolton.

If Portsmouth can get their defensive / goalkeeping problems sorted i fancy them to push for top 5 or 6. Cant see past Man U for the title right now, despite their poorish start to the season.

EDIT cause i canny spell!

Europa League O_o

I'm not sure how successful this will be. I kinda like how the UEFA Cup is different from the Champions League. The idea of it becoming the same might make European competition a little bland.

The European Championships have been made bigger too. Maybe England, Scotland and Northern Ireland will qualify this time since they came close last time. XD

West Ham just got stung. 30m quid fine, ouch.

I'm looking forward to the Merseyside Derby tomorrow. Thankfully it's before work so I'll get to see it, but I'll be playing when the Gers play Hibs on Sunday so I'll miss it. :/

Uefa cup should be knock outs like before.

It works pretty much the same as the current UEFA Cup structure in terms of qualifying for it except runners-up in cup competitions don't make it in. In my opinion thats a good thing, it means teams like Queen of the South who have no chance of improving Scotlands reputation in Europe and Millwall who had no chance of doing it for England will have no realistic chance of making it into Europe. It might suck2bethem but frankly for the good of the countries football thats something I don't have sympathy with them for.

I thought the runner up to the Scottish cup thing ended last year. Meaning QoS was the last team that would get it (In Scotland at least). Now i hear this isn't the case? BS!

It should go down to the next league position.

Yep, that ends the year after this. Unfortunately. We can but hope for a Rangers v Hibs final SMILEY

I'm hopin for Killie to gte close to the finals. After that 4 - 2 scutching we gave to Aberdeen last week its got our hopes high to then get crushed again for pulling up against Celtic for the next round SMILEY

Yeah ditching the team thats in the final will be a good idea. We need our better teams to head into Europe rather than QoS style teams lol

And ex, SPL is better SMILEY (not really, only sayin that cause i'm Scottish ha ha) I prefer watching teams from my own country rather than being a glory seeking idiot SMILEY (Hence why i support Killie and Scotland SMILEY)

Anyone but the likes of Gretna and Queens. ~_~

Hearts beat Celtic at this stage last year I think, so it's not beyond Killie to do it considering how they played against Rangers at Ibrox. Depends what team Strachan fields and how up for it they are.

Thoroughly enjoyed the Merseyside Derby this weekend, Fernando Torres got back to scoring ways (and earned my fantasy football team 24points in the process!) scoring twice and his overall performance was awesome. Shock of the weekend goes to Hull! Daniel Cousin scored the winner, haha. That'll be his last goal for 5 games SMILEY Unless they play another big team soon. Spurs are still struggling, beaten 2-0 by Portsmouth, Ramos keeps chopping and changing and doesn't know what his best team is and I have a feeling he'll lose his job by the time he knows what it is. Newcastle beaten again, I hope they're relegated. Just because you have a big stadium doesn't mean you have a divine right to be in the top 4 of the Premiership like most of their fans seem to think.

I missed the Rangers v Hibs match and I'm gutted, because apparently we played them off the park winning 3-0. We should arrange friendlies with Derby and Wolves, since Kenny Miller only seems to like scoring against his old teams SMILEY Celtic, the jammy gits that they are, snuck a late win against Aberdeen. It won't be the last time they do that this season, unfortunately. Killie are on a bit of a slump after being beaten by Inverness! Shows how valuable confidence is in football, since they would probably have won that match before they lost to Rangers and Celtic but since they've taken two defeats and lost their clean sheet record the heads were bound to be down.

Caught the second half of Valencia vs Deportivo in Spain and Valencia were awesome, it's good to see them back to their best after last seasons troubles.

Our team won 3-1 on Sunday =D

Rangers did indeed play Hibs off the park.  The midfield was in total control all except that numpty Charlie Adam.  Why he gets a game i dunno.  There were 3 or 4 oppertunities where he could have put Darch, Nacho and Miller through on goal only for him to get caught with the ball or not release the pass quick enough.. total eedjit!  Apart from him.. top marks.  Mendez has already won player of the season as long as he doesnt get injured imo.

Premiership was good this weekend.  Lots of controversy as usual.  Dodgy reffing, teams not performing and of course Arsenal getting PUMPED haha!  Gotta love it.

Haha, Charlie Adam. Once he stops munching the pies he might be fit enough to play Professional football at a decent level. He used to get a game because of his set-pieces, he scored like 12 goals or something 2 seasons ago. Now his set pieces are gash.
