When CR 2.0 was released, several animations were broken. Apart from Guard Breaker and maybe a few others I haven't noticed, none of them have been fixed to my knowledge. These have been brought up on this forum by me and others for a long time. However, in some older conversation inside the game, I was told by 9mmfu that the staff didn't read the forums too much (I think?), and sending /bug reports would help better. After some testing, I've finally got around sending some of them, and gonna continue. My question, how are chances that those get noticed and fixed in foreseeable time? I don't expect any promises, I'd just like to know how to look at this whole thing. After a year and a half, it would be nice to see some improvement in this area at last. I can imagine that they might be hard to fix, but the zombies' got fixed pretty quickly aswell. Could it be that they just haven't been fixed because no one has reported them, or something? Apart from specific broken animations, and having been around long before CR 2.0, are generall "off-setting" bugs where the Interlock participants get misplaced, don't face each other, punch in the air or merge into each other. This happens close to walls that hinder the moves, but also randomly in free space. It can really hurt the eye, and I'd like to have an idea what chance they have to ever be fixed, and the visual quality of Interlock be significantly improved.
I wouldn't call them "small issues" as they perfectly ruin the actually beautiful combat aesthetics. Although I don't want to step over my competences, I don't understand how combat look can matter so little, especially considering the game's unique Interlock system and where this game originates.
the first thing they have to do is read the bug report, it will be sent off to be reproduced and they will test it's effects and how people may exploit it, they will then check the CSR's to see if there have been reports of people doing it.
they will then prioritize it to being fixed, obviously if a bug is able to be exploited then it'll take presidense over something that is not able to be exploited.
once it's got to the top of the list or if rarebit thinks is so small that he can fix it in about 10 min then he'll fix it and add it to the patch.
thats the way it works I believe.
Well, I'm certain these are not exploitable bugs, they're just butt ugly
Well, they did fix the zombies bugs relatively quickly - now, those caused client crashes all around in the area, and although looking as broken as by far no regular animation in the game, might have been easier to fix. But still.

But still.I was one of those victims. But yeah, I'd like to see the animations fixed. It'll look nice when MKTs have supar secksy knife animations so they aren't short and plain (which also seems to be another issue with Spies, the animations go too fast), along with fixing the rest. It's weird watching me do the animation for Silver Bullet when I launch an AoE Hack in IL.
