I am making this thread simply to come up with some idea's for a new Operative class tree. i figure i would start it off with the idea of a Sword Smith Tree (The only name i could come up with) with the tree focusing on Wielding/Mastering a Sword.
Now this is just a guess, but from what i have seen CR2.0 is pretty well made, Viral Accuracy/Defense/Resistance and so on. I am wondering if they can do the same thing except make a completely different level, instead of thrown, viral, etc. make it 'Swing'. you need to be able to swing a sword to hit someone, i figure that would work out really good.
I have given this thought, for the Defense part, there would be another ability along side the Hyper Block, dodge, etc. only this one would enable ya to wield a small knife/sword to actually be able to defend yourself from a sword attacker.
as for the actual abilities, i am still working on them, but i am only trying to find idea's for another Operative Tree.
Please post your thoughts about the class tree.

Your 'idea' is not on topic, i don't care if it's going to happen or not, i want 'idea's' on what to add to the tree 'if it were' going to happen. stay on topic.

if a new combat system were introduced i would end my subscribtion, CR2.0 has many 'unbalance' and 'unfair' advatanges over the many different tree's, go ahead and flame about that, but make another thread to do so. If it takes another combat revision before the creation of another Class Tree, then i am gone forever.
If they were to introduce a melee weapon tree, they could do a 'universeal' tree, so the 1 ability will work with a Broadsword, Katana, Pole and whatever Melee Weapons they could think off. Obviously the animation would be different depending on the weapon, so it would add loads of variety with minimal balancing.They could also have them use the 'Melee' stats too, and have it branch off where guns and MA seperate.
I think CR2 could be a lot better if they got shot of those %Bonuses, its those things that are so exploitable and like it or not, 3% does close to nothing.
