I have just spent ages getting enough cash to level my Force Multiplier tree up so that i could have it loaded with SMG's, finally got it there about 10 days ago and was really enjoying the binifits of automaticly healing whilst taking damage....its great!
then CR2.0 comes along and ruins all my fun, i looked at this tree again and the thing i realised is.....its useless, i mean even loaded as a patcher its pretty useless apart from the recall abilitie......will this tree be balanced a bit more in the future, as i cant see anyone using it untill there are some improvments.

Sup old buddy, anyway what you have to remember is that it heals in DPS now and not instantly. Plus getting a good hybrid to wokr right with you Stats is hard. What are aour stats?

My buddy in game Medanon is our Force Mutliplyer and its great we kill things and he buffs/heals us.

Force Mulitplier isn't useless at all:

  • Improved Hacking is the best Hacker/Coder buff in the game.

  • Sweep Party 2.0 is still amazingly useful (although not as essential as before).

  • Force Enhancer still gives a noticable boost and throws your opponent for a loop when they think you're out of IS.

  • The Combat Auras are great abilities, general offensive buffs, second only to those in Upgrade Master.

  • And finally... Force Multiplier's Class Buff is awesome. 10% IS Cost Reduction (base) for the win. It makes any tree you combine with it so much more IS efficient.

FONDO!   LONG-TIME-NO-SEE

how you doing mate?

anyways, the reason i think its pointless is that my l/o of FM/SMG now is nowhere near as powerfull as prevviosly and it seems to me, that if you want to go into combat, you are better off splitting the soldier tree rather than stretching your abilities to fit this one in

Ok, that's true, but that's more an effect of the rather powerful (for the mem investment) Concelemnt/Dual SMG/Dual Handgun/Rifle Artistry abilities.

Still though, you may want to look at Corpsman as you can snag Weapons Boost (+Ranged Acc), a rez, and Restore Group 2.0 (Area heal usable in and out of IL) to go with SMGs, although getting those abilities first since, well... they hurt.
