Wait, wait. So after Unlimits with Pew Pew Lazers, Flys that take Human form and shoot people, Seraph "exorcising" people, Cryptos having overwritten Mech eyes, Wireframe Men (without jacks) with even more pew pew.. explosion lazers, you honestly can't believe that a guy with no apparent jacks can jack into the Matrix?
Fixed.

And I agree. Nothing is far-fetched in this game anymore.

That was there from the start. Jacking in without the use of a cranial jack was done long before MxO was released. Did we all forget that Neo pulled the same stunt? Yeah he had one but he made it quiet apparent that the use of one is not needed to get into the Matrix or any other construct for that matter.

When did Neo jack in without a jack?

End of Reloaded. Separates his mind from his body and wakes up inside the Trainman's construct. Then taking a train into the Matrix still without the use or need of a jack. While in his case it was accidental it still shows that it can be done.

I thought that was what you ment.  If he could jack in without a jack, do you think he would end up with the Trainman?  I don't believe that he randomly and accidently, separated himself from his body to end up there.  I think it is more likely that he was trapped there with purpose.  Maybe the Trainman had something set up.  Jacking in without a jack may indeed be possible, but this in no form proves it.

It doesn't prove this 100% either way.  There could be a large variety of unknown factors.  That's all I'm saying.

Thing about that, when they left the Oracle he suddenly had a jack.

Yeah who knows... Mauser, Halborn?? guess we'll know when we know.

((On a semi related note from above, I just caught Ballak's sig, (as of 8:35 PM US MST, 5/19) but i cant quote it so.. Just let me say that my Factionmates name is Coroebus, a figure (if obscure) from Greek History/mythology. In the future before bashing a name as "smashing fingers against a keyboard", you might want to do a little research.... K thanks))

Edit: Removed unneccessary, yet illustrative, ribbing of Ballak's handle. Sorry, was a little miffed. Still am about this Podcast. anyway off topic so ima drop it.

Ballaks signature is quoting from the SOE Podcast

But it does. We see a man without a jack pluggin into somewhere that a jack would be needed. It proves that it is possible for someone to seperate their mind from their body and send it to another location. Thus jacking in without a jack is possible. However the menas to do so remains unknown to us at this time. Plus your arguemnt for saying it does not prove it is based of your own assumption as to why he found himself in the trainman's construct but in order for your assumption to bare any weight you need to show evidence of some outside force directing him where to go. But even then you can't deny that Neo did not use a cranal jack to get there.

That was to get him out. The point is (as I mentiond above) that it is possible to jack into a construct without a cranal jack. Neo didn't know how he did it but he did. Him useing a jack to get out doesn't change the fact that he did not have one to get in.

Yea, my understanding is that in order to get him out he either would have had to do it on his own (which apparently he didn't even know how he got in, much less get out) or use the hardline, but hardlines are apparently directly related to the cranial jacks, so I imagine they put him in a chair and stuck a jack into him.

One day, God invented the English language and the people were happy. On the second day, God invented quotation marks so that the people could take out of context what other people said, which in this case is used in a sarcastic nod towards SOE, and the people were still happy. On the third day, God invented Sony Online Entertainment's Brenlo along with SOE Podcast, and the people were still happy. On the fourth day, God invented Jason "Pex" Ryan, and gave him the distinction of MMO Names, and the people laughed.

Lol! Handles in online games if they have to be unique will always result in increasingly weird and/or inventive and/or referenced to historical/mythological names. I guess it's either unique names or hundreds of similar names relating to main characters of whatever game it is walking around...
