Well I was looking through the recent screenshots and this one caught my eye
the challenge for me was getting the title name of the rsi replaced, I tried to get the windows in the background aligned as humanly possible (although I'm sure there are a ton of people that could do that better here). Also i wanted to add a billboard image instead of the "Ad Space For Rent" Here's the result...

The rsi's faces could use some more work, but overall I am very happy with the results. This took me around three days just with trial and error and alot of breaks! heheh!

That is pretty awesome, the blur on the building is little bit patchey, and the hairline of the guy in front could be a little smoothed, but it is very good.

I should have made the title of the thread someTHING's I've been working on. Ok I got this screenshot on my usual scavenger hunts (If I'm not mistaken, this particular one was also used in those Masquerade posters. Awesome artwork btw!

I guess I was going for was to bring out the metallic parts on the samurai lady there. i also wanted to bring out more the patterns on her clothes. Our green haired rsi guy (Roukan) I wanted to make his face look more visible. I think this came out better than I expected. To me ole Roukan there looks like he's got a good tan going (or windburn, it is snowing after all) on his face. I also blurred alot of the snow and with no offense to Rarebit, but the crystal snowflakes really drive me nuts.
About the only thing that I would have liked to work on more was the floor itself, maybe give it some more snow. I'll probably get back to it and try my hand at that, but for now I am rather pleased how this one turned out.

Ooh me like. You're welcome to use any screenshot of mine to enhance your abilities. I'll even link one or two for you.

Nice work, although work on your blurring, the 'collateral' of it ends up blurring a lot of the background and area around it which would be good to avoid, for example on the second screeny with Roukan in a lot of the floor is blurred, yet other parts aren't, understandable if there is snow or something like that, but there is no reason for the different textures in the picture.
Other than that, very nicely done " />
p.s. *CENSORED* Vista ¬_¬

Ok thanks to Roukan I got the image below. I liked this shot but this time I wanted to do something a little different. I added the usual lightning and darkening of shadows. I especially like the way the guy's jacket came out. The rifle blast was a little tougher and that I'm not too happy with as it looks more like smoke than a sharp blast. I also fooled around with the curves and to soften the edges a bit I added a gaussian blur to it all.
Before

In a moment of rare inspiration though I thought it would be fun to add a cover like in Time magazine. That took a little more time as I had to make the borders myself. Then it was finding the right font for it, I wanted to make it look like a serious magazine publication but also give it a feeling of what the usual irony of life that Mega City has , hence the fall fashion bit!

All in all I'm pretty happy with this one ! Hope you all like!

Ok got a few more , bear in mind that I am new to alot of this

Ok I like this one because brightening up those windows gave it a nice skyline . I don't think I do too bad as far as getting the lady's skin texture right but those shadows on the ground....ugh

To be honest I loved the detailing of the ground in this one , unfortunately that's also where the error is and I didn't notice until now that the shadows on the bench are in a different direction than the shadow the guy makes argh!!! Anyway this is what it looked like before ...
hmmm looking at the before photo it seems the shadow was going in the opposite way before I did anything.....

Ok this one was a little tricky and I am finding out that using dodge and darken are alot tougher than one would think, especially when working with leather. The first few tries just made her jacket look faded , like she stole it from the 50's after a while I started to get the hang of it though!
Note: yes I changed the title of the thread. It's a little more eye catching , don't you think?

... And I was all ready to do damage control on whatever horrible images were posted in this thread. Glad to see there's some nice stuff in here. Keep up the good work.
