It's kinda hard to tell from the angles and the over-bright about those globe glasses. I think they'll probly look better in person (the game) directly when we get them. I will deffinatly be getting some pairs of these for my toons.
I think the only things that might be detracting from them and confusing the concept - are they should be a slightly blue-ish tint. Now I know there isn't supposed to be any "Blue" (sept for the FF jeans) - but these probly could be better if they where slightly bluer - being winter and their theme being "Globe" as in the "Snow Globe". And the snowflake images look like they are too small and not sharply defined enough to stand out and really be seen. The thing about the previous glasses - Awakened, Headless - is that their textures are virbrant and really pop out! With a very small item - the image needs to be just big enough to be seen to be recognized, and have that contrast.
They still aren't that bad - and I will be grabbing quite a few pairs for all my characters. Boy - with all the snowflakes I'll be collecting , the Holiday Hook.. eh, "Helpers" will really be giving me some lovin'! :D
