Something i have noticed latley. If i tried to draw someone into contact na dthey had their shield up, i'd have to wait about, what? 5 seconds before i could try again.

But with NPCs, they can try one right after another. It's like they don't have timers.

Is this meant to be like this?

Known issue, yes. But doesn't hurt to make others aware of it, no?

I dont think anyone will bother fix this any time soon. NPCs are known to have special privileges in combat other than a missing re-use timer for interlock: For example they can use Dual Pistol Execution or Dual Pistol Dash eventhough they have only one gun. And they have abilities that a player could not have at their level. So just consider this part of an NPC's birth right. It is not too much of an annoyance anyways. I do not even have Evade Combat loaded on my mission build and yet the NPCs are just for carnage

This is true.. I find the cheaty little advantages NPCs have go toward making up for the lack of AI compared to Players.  Even though they can do all these things we can't, we're still able to easily outsmart them.  They'd be an absolute doddle if they followed all the same rules we do.

I didn't say it hurt. I just made others aware, that the making others aware of this issue (which is aware to the devs) has already been made aware of in plenty of other threads (:

I have always loved the Taskmasters ability to break roots whenever he darn well pleases, and many NPCs to lose interest in the big wall between him and you and shoot/break your shield anyway.

I hate the way that NPC's can bust through my alt support hacker's shield in two attempts even though the Shield is up and guassian blur is on. Last night I had just refreshed my Shield, turned on my blur and used the blocking tactics (just to dash through them) and an NPC one level above mine broke it and pulled me into interlock almost instantly. I can live with it as long as it doesn't happen all the time but I have noticed it more frequently in the past week or so...

I've noticed usually they try to interlock at the same speed their firearm shoots at, but then again not every NPC has a firearm.

Really?  I thought every NPC was given at least something so as not to be completely useless while waiting to interlock...

I know the Yuki Archavist don't have anything, most other NPCs do.

I saw an upgrade artist NPC actually use a melee free fire attack the other day.

The worst bug (feature?) is how when we start an attack but the NPC ducks behind a wall our attack fails, whereas as soon as an NPC starts an attack against us it's guaranteed to hit no matter where we are.

I have been whacked in the mush by a few Melee Free Fire NPCs lately, it seems that they hit their free fire button and instead of shooting they punch or kick you which is good but an Unlimit went from a door about 10 meters away straight up to my nose in a split second SMILEY
