This is perhaps the largest love explosion since Roukan found out he was getting female suits.

Now too bad everyone and their mother will be wearing these items for about a month or two.

Looks good to me. I have to second the question about the formal gloves and hats, although I imagine the new items will just be added to the same collectors from last year.

'bout time. I hope there's some decent buffs on them. Some +Movement Speed on the shoes would be a nice change from the +22 to resist like most holiday-type items.

The shoes are cool, if not unexpected, but I'm really not sure when I'll ever wear white shoes. The coats, however, do absolutely nothing for me. I've never worn a boucher and these won't make me want to start. Of course, I'll probably collect them anyway if only for just something to throw on the market in the middle of next August hehehe

I don't really see anything there that constitutes what Rare was talking about in terms of creating an item unlike anything players have had access to before. I'm personally hoping for Holiday Helper style corset tops for the ladies, and white boots (though they already have black boots.. so perhaps black boots with white fur trim?). The corset top is something that players haven't been able to get yet, but that have existed before for NPCs, and getting them to work for every body type could possibly be the difficulty Rare has been experiencing. Guess we'll see next week... unless Rare is more evil than we already know and he delays it even further.
