VEX5's Launch Parameters Guide
This is a guide to editing the game's launch paramaters. A launch parameter is a command that is added to a shortcut that will execute an additional step(s).
1. Adding Parameters Right click on the shortcut you use to access the MxO Launcher and select properties:
>
Insert the command you want after the last quotation mark in the 'Target' field.

2. Launch Parameters Here are some of the parameters I have found:
-user -- Login Name -pwd -- Login Password -char -- Character Name -qlver -- Does not work -qluser -- No effect -qlpwd -- No effect -qlchar -- No effect -lptest -- No effect -skiplaunch -- Unknown -noeula -- Does not work -justpatch -- Unknown -recover -- Unknown -deletechar -- Delete a character -nopatch -- Does not work -silent -- Unknown -clone -- Allows second game instance. Need alternative account. -failonunknownerrors -- Unknown -ignoreunknownerrors -- Unknown -extras -- Unknown -configsection -- Unknown -config -- Unknown -nosymbols -- Unknown
3. Usage Although I haven't tested a lot of these commands, the biggest use for this would be to minimize time spent on logging in. For example, you could have the launcher automatically fill in your username, password, and select the character you want to play as soon as you accept the EULA:

This will log in user 'Login' with password 'LoginPwd' and select the character 'Char' to play.
I hope this helps!Message Edited by vex5 on 03-29-200611:43 AM

-clone: this allows you to have a second copy of the game running. You need another account though.

+windowed 1 makes the game start up as a windowed game and not full screen.

Well, if you have a separate user account (with protected files), what you can do is remove the MXO shortcut from the All Users directory, and place it into C:\Documents and Settings\You\Desktop. You can then edit the shortcut with your desired parameters, such as autologin, and noone should be able to see it.

Hehe, it's amazing how many times I've seen posts like this pop up. I posted on these on the old 'lith forums. Someone copied and pasted that post to the old Matrix Dojo forums. Alas I have since forgot to repost, but here's some corrections for you.
The -ql versions (-qluser -qlpwd -qlchar) are as far as I can tell just synonyms for -char, -pwd, and -user.
-lptest is truly unknown.
-noeula has never worked
-justpatch does just as it says, and just patches, then exits the launcher. You never get to the character selection screen.
-recover is the same as flipping the full check switch.
-nopatch does work as far as I remember, but it isn't really usefull. If you allready have the latest version, it's pretty quick, and you'll get a version mismatch if you try to use it when a new patch is released.
-failunknownerrors, -ignoreunknownerrors, -extras are all admin only IIRC. Not 100% sure about that.
-configsection is just what it says, but seems to be not be used.
-config allows you to specify a config file to run. Eg: -config test.cfg would execute test.cfg instead of useropt.cfg
If, and only if you have all 3 -user -pwd and -char all you have to do is click Accept, and you are automatically jacked into the game at a random hardline.
So there's everything I have on the subject
[Edit] Google cache is cool. [/Edit]

It is still a security breach I would not want to use, even if it is very handy, and none else is using this computer.
