Would it be possible to make soem of the RP items droppable so that they show up like the lugs do i think that would be cool as then we could set up out own RP scenes like leaving an RP item in a Perticular Building for people to hunt down.  Would encourage more Player Events and also give us some more content to boost the RP scene.

I think it would be a nice idea, only thing I'm worried about is players buying and dropping these items all over the place, they'd have to be recyclable.

This is a good idea, however I think it would be better to make areas in the game open so you can go inside like in some buildings downtown there are open areas. Nothing in these areas cept for stuff you see on missions, so add the ability to get a virus from a computer in there or an item from a desk or safe, people could make their own missions with this and reward other players with info or items, this would greatly increase player run events and would help the community alot.

 Just my 2 cents.

Going to use this as an excuse to do a link-bump SMILEY

Yeah in agreement.. Dropable luggs, more access to areas in game... lotsa different ways this could be accomplished.

The main thing is that dropped luggs should recycle. Dont know if this is possible, but Im thinking that once a week when the Server refreshes that all "loose" prop luggs would be wiped out. If the point is for Rping, you wouldnt have them sitting around for very long anyway. If people were abusing it, a "cleansing" would  prevent a major buildup of stuff. I presume this already takes place with things like bits that have been dropped on the ground.

Course, this subject always sems to die whenever i see it brought up. Maybe becasue everyone has given up on Player Rping in this game, and just hangs around Mara C. To me thats a sign that this needs some attention.

If they cost 2mil per prop, and if no one picked them up after 25mins they disappeared, this could be possible. Something to add to the base of the prop vendor list.

If they cost nothing and have no timeout people will just drop hundreds of them to write text on the ground out of boredom, or to graphics-crash people with thousands as they come around a corner.

I think that would make a HUGE difference in fostering a level of creativity for events not only for Player Events but LESIG as well.

Yeah.. unfortunately you are probably right. This game does seem to have its fair share of wankers who would pull these stunts. But as you say, make them expensive enough and this would be a non-issue.

Skull- yeah i agree with the idea of opening some areas of the game... There are so many cool rooms that are locked away in Mish areas that nobody is running. i would like to see a few of them "opened", and especially some of the useful settings. For Instance, the following types of rooms would make great RP settings: Room full of Guns and Ammo,Rooms full of Chemistry Equipment,Warehouse spaces, those little rooms in International with the card tables....

I would say that even ONE room in each district that was opened would be a dramatic improvement, as long as there was an interesting assortment of room types selected. I'd even say it would be cool if sad rooms were not advertised and you had to find them on your own. I have found Open rooms before in a few buildings, but my sense is that they are extremely uncommon, except for ledge rooms in DT. I have never really founf any in the other districts... tho i cant say ive searched every floor of every building

I think that creating a new set of luggable RP items is slightly unrealistic, and fraught with problems. Opening mission areas might be possible, but there are already some internal RP areas already.

What I would like to see would be the current RP items being able to be placed in bodies, drawers and wardrobes of mission areas: replacing loot items which the containers previous hold.

I know that I have been able to replace items in such areas. I believe that these are usually items which I have looted within the same mission area (Data Disks, Access Cards, etc.) Could this ability not be extended to incorporate RP items?

Awesome idea, yeah. There shld be means to "restrict" it a bit tho, yeah. As had been said: People will spam the ground with stuffs just out of boredom making MegaCity a huge trashpile.
