This is more of just a generaly question, which I don't need help on.  But I am just wondering what exactly is a TSR?  Like what are the duties of TSR's, and if they have any power in game?  (Like to kick off an account which is already in use)

I am just curious to what the TSR's can do with the game.

TSRs (Technical Support Representatives) can only help with getting your computer set up for playing the game successfully.  After the point where you select the character/server, it's out of our hands and in the hands of the In-Game support (/ccr)

Think of me as just another player, but with fairly in-depth knowledge of the technical aspects of the game... and that's about it.  I do work in the Billing, Accounts, and Technical Support department and am fully trained in all aspects of those concerns, but this forum is only for Technical issues with installation, launch, and uninstallation of the game.

Alright, thanks Jason. I thought TSR's are like CSR's but they are two different positions.

You know, I would much rather get in-game support from the TSR's here on the forum, because they seem to have a much betetr grip on the game, mainly because the CSR's don't really play MxO as I understand it, they are just in the customer service section of SOE's services.  I have a particular faction problem I've been trying to deal with for over a year now, and the ccr and respective representatives I get are just no help at all.  I can't say the same for the TSR's here, they have all been extremely helpful and informative.

Sorry to rain on peoples' parades with my lack of "powers". SMILEY

By the way, that's a nice picture of Wolfwood you have for your avatar image, TheEx.

Why thank you, Wolfwood was always my favorite.

"*CENSORED* preacher that thing is heavy!"

"Well thats because its filled with so much mercy"

Classic....I have an alt named TheChapel who I've set up to mimic Wolfwood's appearance, he is a rifleman....but sadly I don't play him often.

well it's the usual situation. Managers have all the power and none of the smarts while the techs have all the real knowledge.

You know I'll have to agree on that...while I was working as a net admin at my previous job, I was making less than half as the original admin (I was hired on first as an assistant) and had twice the knowledge.  I even designed the company website and logon security protocol...lousy deadbeats.  Course I have a good job now, not in comps anymore though.
