Working on a matrix theme for my PS3, here's what I have for the background so far:

I like it would love to see what your doing for the icons

not bad,  feels a little hard edge and a little to two dimensional tho. My personal opinion I would try to get away from the idea that your TV's background is a computer monitor. Go with somthing a little more design to it, for exmample, just a random pic I got off of google...

again, just an example, and just my opinion.
