OK I'm finally ready to tackle the N3O Agents so I can get a second pair of QS gloves and some more QS pills. I haven't done this yet, my current pair of gloves that I bought will die soon and I've bought a few QS on the MP here and there.
I've noticed that the Datamining Guide here in DN1 is pretty scattershot and uncoordinated, people would just post random tidbits as they discovered them but no one "put it all together" in a definative guide. Especially in regard to QS/OD drops and tactics etc.
With that in mind, my questions are, how many people are needed to take these guys down, and what's the best loadout/strategy for it? Also, if you have more people on your team will the number of N30 spawns increase or is the amount static?
Lastly, what exatcly drops and how do you "learn" how to code the gloves or pills? Is the thing that drops...along with the Quicksilver Frag, a luggable or a singleton? Does it make a special compliler? I understand its called a Quicksilver Compilation Module.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Think it is static spawns for N30's.
Think the best load would be areas but i'm not 100% on that. We'll get a team up at somepoint, just farming specifically for them can be a bam due to random spawning. Bunch of us went to do it, mined for a good while, they all logged, an hour later i got the spawn by myself
Im not to sure how the whole learning process works. I think i saw in my coding thingy that Compilation Module, so it looks as though it can be coded and passed on to learn. 1 frag is needed to code i think.
1 Artillerist/IH; 1 Trauma
When you kill all the spawns, the cluster drops a Quicksilver Luggable. You destroy that to learn the recipe and get 2 QS frags. Each QS frag lets you make 1 QS item with 2 charges.
its really not all that hard to win this spawn, the best way i know for sure to work is to kill only the RED npcs and its a automatic win, the rest of the npcs will despawn and u winz cluster(quicksilver lugg), and yes theres allways little tricks to wining ubber things ooops the cats out the bag now!
selling the bestest farming tips for a fazillion dollars!
Nevermind

Thanks for the advice, and wb btw Quick followup, like the other consumable frags does each QS frag also code a set of 20 QS Pills if you wanna code that besides the gloves?
If you get tired of farming just let me know. I think I still have a few spares to give away for free <3

I'm pretty sure so, yeah.
I'm always up for farming these; let me know if you're looking to farm them.

Thanks for the offer! Although I'm on Vector
To be more specific, when you use the Quicksilver luggable for the first time (right-click on it and select Use Item), you learn the code structure for the QS gloves (both genders), the QS pills, and the QS compilation module (in addition to getting 2 QS frags). The stats for the compilation module are as follows:
Increases all 5 crafting attributes by 1ptCrafting Cost Discount (15%)Compile Time Reduction (90%)
It should also be noted that the compilation module is a luggable and a singleton. So, you cannot email it to yourself, and it will disappear during a server restart, if not sooner. (The last time I made the compilation module, it disappeared while it was in my inventory, if I remember correctly. I got some B.S. system message saying why I lost it, but it didn't really make any sense to me. However, that was a long time ago, so I don't know if they have fixed it since then.)
By the way, from what I have heard, you only need to kill the level 54 N30 AG3NTS to get the QS luggable. However, the best way to kill them is using Howitzer/Destroyer and keeping them in a small, enclosed area, so you'll probably end up killing all of them anyway.

That is, of course, if you don't get seriously raped first in the process.
