Still flagged after dieing and Reconstructing

Details please...

 

Loadout (yours/theirs)?

Buff/Debuffs running on you when you die?

Reconstruct through HL or Rez by player?

Level (yours/theirs)?

 

If you can get it in a controlled environment like away from majorly populated areas?

 

Does it occur after fighting mobs also or just PvP? also Duels?

Determination, duelist upgrade, hyper-dodge, hyper delflect, zion hardware requisition, (think thats everything)

was just a 1 v 1 near debir court

not tried being flagged whilst fighting mobs, or in duels yet, ill give it a go tonight

Was in interlock(this seems a major factor )

I was killed inside IL and flag was still on.

 

On this not its clear inside IL deaths leave flag on, outside IL deaths remove flag, at least thats the pattern most have seen.

Non Hostile Server
Kung fu Gm buff, kungfu/karate style, hyper deflect and hyper dodge, mervs boon, determination, sometimes hyper speed.

Every time I die in Pvp combat while in interlock, when I return via a rez or reconstruction I am still flagged.
This never happens when I die and am not in interlock. 

I'm gonna do some research and see if I can find anything out.

I found the bug. With help from a few machine operatives.

This is what causes it.  If you receive damage or a state after the server thinks you are dead (usually due to a ganking) your flag will come right back.  Notice how I take damage directly after I die, flag goes away right as I die, but comes back when I take damage afterwards.

Wholly empirical evidence, but what I've seen time after time: You die
in interlock, you stay flagged. You die out of interlock, you're fine.
It's like there's some flag that's supposed to flip, but when it
detects you still fighting an enemy (IL lag) it doesn't. Which, to me,
would indicate that this flag needs to flip later in the sequence, or
even better be auto-reset when the 'reconstruct' button is pressed
instead.

I think it is that when you are in interlock it lets you take damage after you die, due to interlock lag or something.  I don't think it's possible to take damage after you die when you are outside of interlock.

Thanks Zane you nailed it. It appears that the extra round of combat (another bug) that occurs at the end of interlock combat is the culprit. because the player can be effected even after they die this ends up flagging you.

any chance you can also fix the bug that makes you have no is after you reconstructed when you died in pvp

You only stay flagged if you die before your character is out of interlock. Example: Moves like Triple Front Kick cause damage BEFORE the animation is done and makes it so you die flagged.

Any death occurance while in interlock while flagged will leave you dead with a flag.

Well if you are fighting in interlock and you die, IN INTERLOCK BY YOUR OPONNET then you stay PVP but if you are in interlock and you die BY SOMEONE OUTSIDE then your not PvP. Also you can suicide and be non pvp. I doubt it has anything to do with the trees, but then again your the dev SMILEY

I've noticed that it also happens alot more when you have multiple people attacking one target, I guess it does the same thing that ZaneZavin pointed out.
