Essentially, just purchased MxO, I try and make my character, design his appearance, pick his stats, put in name and description, click next, and the game does not progress. I just see the character Ive made doing circles in the lower right hand corner, and pictures of the "Pods" in the upper right. It seems like no info is being transmitted from my PC to the game servers at this point as well, however, the game continues to "run".

Are you running any firewall software on your computer?  What kind?  If so, I would recommend disabling it, as well as running under a clean boot.

Actually tried the patch test thing on the launcher, and that resolved the issue. However, the cleanboot did help with some other performance issues, thanks.

Great, glad to hear my suggestion helped with something at least.  Let us know if you have further problems.

Just bought the game as well and I am having the same issue.

I have tried opening the ports, turning off the firewall all together, and starting with a clean boot.

Any other suggestions?

Have you tried running the full scan from the launcher?  That worked for Haetron.

Yeah, tried that as well.  It is working now though, seemed liked there was a little patch this morning and that seemed to remove the issue.  If it was supposed to or not, it did the trick.  Thanks much for the reply.

one thing you should try that worked for me is that when you start up the game, on the screen where you type in your account name and password, look for a switch right below the screen where you insert your account password that says "patch: full system check". when you see it, click on it and then after it resets the game, go through everything else as you normally would. (p.s. if you use windows xp, go to firewall and allow matrix online launcher and another app. that should just say matrix.)
