Karate was once the pwn, but its rolls aren't what they used to be. Kung Fu > all else 80% of the time these days.

Aikido/Karate when I play around with MA.
Everyone and their parents are Kung Fu.

Karate Grandmaster. Mix with Kung fu.. only for the Extreme Falling Kick move/
I don`t know about you but I can pretty much hit with it...
...although it`s kinda hard against an Aikido.

To me, karate is easily the best looking and it's nice to be ranked something different than 95% of all the other MA users out there, so it's what I use. The load out actually consists of almost all of karate, a good bit of fu, and just the first couple abilities in aikido though, so it's not like the only thing I ever see/use is the karate side of things. I also enjoy my karate/dual smgs load out quite a bit, although it's good all aroundness means it's not that good when put up directly against a one discipline load.

I'm a Wushu fan/student so it was natural for me to pick up Kung Fu as a lowbie. It's still my favourite style.

I prefer the look and feel of karate, and use it on missions. But I've always found kung fu to be the most effective when in pvp. Although even in pvp, I mainly use the karate moves in the loadout mix...

It's not the style that defines you, it's how you use it.

Back in the old combat system days I chose Karate because I thought most people would be Kung Fu like Neo and I never heard of Aikido. I'm still using it now in the new combat system but even though melee damage is the best with Karate, compared to the others on all attributes as a whole it looks the weakest.
