I mean, I know I can ask them this, but I doubt they would answer.

I'd like to know their true feelings on the aquisition of MxO.

Are they confident with their move? Are they confident they can make
the game more enjoyable and more rich? Will they lose money if more
players decide to leave the game? And most importantly, if the worst
happens, would they abandon MxO to another company, or shut it down?

I guess overall, I wish I could know their feelings on aquiring this game.

Just read the information available about the acquisition. It was part
of a deal for them two get to make and manage two other WB license
games. They just need to float Matrix Online long enough to seal those
others.

Sony doesn't want this game and it's evidenced by the lack of support
or concern. Flagrant exploiters are reported on a daily basis without
being banned and SOE support basically gives you the run around about
problem until you solve it yourself or give up in frustration.

I've seen a buddy lose 20million info, rebuilding and leveling his
Arbelest mutiple times and when he logged back in, it would be gone
again. No explanation, no help whatsoever from SOE. They won't even
acknowledge he had a problem, or that he ever told them.

I experienced how good their support can be in the early days of SWG.
You could get a live response, with an in-game CSR fast enough to fix
problems in mid-pvp fights. The problems here are lack of concern.

I don't work for Sony but if I were in the same position, I would be very happy.  This game is perfect for SOE and Sony's strategy.  You have to understand that WB is trying to get out of the broadband game.  This licensing agreement is a win-win for the two parts.  The only real problem with this game is it was released before it was completely developed.  They're not going to abandon the game.  It isn't a game yet.  It's incomplete.

BTW, if they really were worried, they would have pushed the game back into official beta and corrected it faster, but why do that if ppl will pay for its current version.   I wouldn't worry about anything unless they change the management.

If those bastards stole this game from Monolith/WB just to end it...

I will be reenacting the Government Lobby scene in their headquarters.

I will put a pistol to the president's head and say "Discontinue this."
