Sad news. I almost lost my words for two days. You are the one who gave us matrix'y stolylines and your work is great. You entertained big (and sometimes opinionated) fans of the Matrix trilogy. I cannot imagine MxO without Rarebit. Due to timezone problem, I was able to join an event only once (EPN meeting), but it was a memorable day. You will be missed.

I was very happy to have seen you in the real world last year and had a great time. You are a very nice guy whom I cannot forget until the end of my life. I planned to travel to the US for Fan Faire again this year. I hope you join as a guest, if you are OK.

Thank you very much and good luck in your next location. I hope to see you again someday.

I see this as a positive thing, at least when this project finally dies, its last days of suffering won't be on his shoulders, so we can remember Rarebit for the great artist and developer he is.

Its all cool man, i just wish we could take some of our bitter words about the "new approach" thingy back, we didn't really expect it to be a preparation for your departure.

Can't put all the thankfullnes for your work in words, so just, thanks and hope to meet you again.

Take care.

Good bye Rarebit. It won't be the same without you, you will be sorely missed. I'm glad I managed to take part in one of your final live events after years of wanting to do so.

I would like to thank you Rarebit for helping out in a great game. This game has gone way beyond what I expected it to go when I heard about it coming out. There has been some great story and memorable live events that I will never forget. I hope your skills take you to a great and stable place. We will truly miss you and the game will never be the same again. Please make sure to come say hi on the forums from time to time.

To The Last Dev.......

Thank you for the hard work you've put in keeping MxO alive Rarebit.  Even if things didn't always go according to plan you helped keep the game moving.

Now I've read the posts in this thread, the storyline posts, and had time to gather my thoughts.

It's amazing to see so many of the old names either posting through a friend to say goodbye, or even re-subscribing just to make a post here!

That people are willing to pay just to say how much they appreciate everything Rare's  done, and say goodbye, should be a stronger indication than anything of just how much his presence has meant.

Rarebit: Thank you for everything; there's been many great times in this game thanks to you and i will always have many fond memories of events and stories. The plans you had for the story were nothing short of perfect, I think.

I never posted very much or got too involved with Live Events (I'm still only level 35 somehow), but I always enjoyed keeping up with the ongoing story in the Matrix, even when I wasn't subscribed. I honestly never thought the game would still be running in 2009, and I think a huge part of the reason it still is, is what Rarebit contributed.

All the best to you Rare, you deserve a solid gold telephone.

First off, Thanks Rarebit. For all you're work. It's amazing to think that this game has kept going basically thanks to you.

I guess you'll be having a well erned break and unplug for a while.

Good Luck with whatever you do.
