"Ask yourself whether this dream of heaven and greatness should be waiting for us in our graves, - or whether it should be ours here and now and on this earth." -Ayn Rand 1905-1982
The crust of the earth used to nothing more to us than just what it was: a layer of sand, soil, and stone. We carried the stone away where we needed to make room for our growth, and then filled it back when we needed to hide from it. Now after the War has scoured the surface and the intervening years have cooled it off, the crust of the earth is our home, our Sanctuary. We return to it for rest, and peace, and love. We return to it for Life.
But it is never warm here, especially out here in the wastelands. Even back at Zion, those of us who could remember what sunshine was supposed to feel like could never really shake the chill. We will never be rid of the dank, clammy embrace of the earth. Our Home, both in Life and in death.

"Whether you tend a garden or not, you are the gardener of your own being, the seed of your destiny." - The Findhorn Community
Who are we? Are we the salt of the earth? The last of a dying breed that will finish laying waste so that nothing more will ever grow here? Or are we the seeds of a new future? The earth has not even begun to heal, and yet here we are, gouging our lives out of the dead rock around us. Is it subsistence for Life? Or merely a stubborn refusal of death?
Wow, Lil Bro... Amazing stuff, hun! Keep it coming!

Hey guys,
@Abby - Thanks, Sis. You always were one of the first to compliment me on my stuff.
@GG - Thanks man, yeah, it's George Hull's Sentinel Killer. I used it for the Rocinante because I thought, "man, what a great design to be so wasted by not getting any use." But I think the W's thought it might be a little "too military". And yeah, I need to get around to completing that wallpaper project. I just want to be able to use different subjects instead of me in every one. I still want to tweak the hacker one, but I also want to do one for MKT/Assassin, a Guns collage, an MA collage, a Doc/UM collage, a Coder, and a Code Shaper. Heh heh, I think I do, anyway. It is an awfully ambitious project.
@Foxx - Thanks man, but if I tell you my secrets then there won't be any magic! I cannot, at all, take credit for George Hull's work. The ship is a modified version of his drawing. And the images are based on real world work. If you find it, you'll get a clue where this Capt and the crew of the Rocinante hideout when they need a break.
@Pyraci - (heh, as always, I am at your service)
