Character deletion failed, account "in use" for almost 24 hours

I tried deleting an unused character and the launcher froze and was "not responding".  I restarted launcher and character i tried to delete is still there and now my "account is already in use" for almost 24 hours.

I, like 867, need to have my account released from the margin server.

I attempted to use the link in the previous thread (Character Login Issues) but I could never get a valid result from my search...."invalid" is all i get when I search for anything related to my issue.

Problem:

I attempted to kill off a mule and my character is now stuck in the margin server (i think).  Also, perhaps I am misunderstanding the capabilities of the new "in-game support" system but I understand one of the requirements of receiving in-game support is to actually BE "in game".  Since I am unable to log-in (and all character login issues are handled in-game)....do you see where I am going with this? SMILEY

Like I said, maybe I missed something but is there a new way to solve this old problem other than posting here?  If so please advise or if there is another thread in existance dealing with this, i will post there (although i couldn't find that thread again)

For future reference, if you get this issue again and it doesn't resolve it's self after 10/15 mins go to http://support.station.sony.com/petition and submit a petition by clicking on the In-Game support tab along the top under the Stuck catagory. That way the CSR's can sort you out if it happens if Jason's away. SMILEY

Thanks for the info Jeffers.   I actually got on with chat support only to find the person i needed had gone home for the weekend.

that issue has since resolved itself..

my latest however, has not.  According to the Matrix, my computer is currenty in "Negotiations with Server" and it appears neither sides lawyers have come to a compromise.  Obviously the "Matrix"is asking for something during these negotiations of which my computer is unwilling or unable to provide.  My legal team has since retired for the weekend and talks are scheduled to resume Monday morning.

I'll let you know how it goes SMILEY

The in-game petition system is available over the weekend as well so that way you can normally get problems sorted out, sometime's can take an hour or so but most of mine have been sorted within 30 mins.

Negotiations can sometimes indicate a connection problem and sometimes a problem with the server, hopefully it's solved when ever you get back monday morning though with your team. :p

And don't take no for an answer. SMILEY

SMILEY  It appears to only be an issue with one of my characters as the others jack-in just fine.

i've submitted a petition since and will try again later. 

I'd love to get this resolved today as keeping my team on retainer gets expensive.  Plus they are like the "Bankers Pen" for Washington Mutual...after a while they get cranky and well...they smell SMILEY
