Merov's dont have an active reason to split atm, in fact given their nature they are really individuals in any event, there's no single overriding aim.....well except wealth and power maybies lol. As has been said what we gain is an absence of reasons for infighting

Hopefully one day the CYPH and EPN groups will be able to wave a seperate pvp flag from machine and Zion respectively that is really all that is needed resorcewise keep the missions the same as their progenitors...the additional pvp option can be utilised by let, pet and legis in game to good effect though.

Yeah, closest thing to a sub I can see for Merv's is the Commandos. However, they are Zion lackeys, so screw em!

I'm actually unhappy that Cypherites are branded as Machinists. While it makes sense in some ways, it reflects badly on actual Machinists - Say what you will about the Merv org being unified, it's in no stable way, exiles will be exiles...

But for Machinists, it's annoying because I always had pride in the fact that we weren't fickle. And we still aren't, yet it cannot appear that way.

Ah well, it's a nice touch by the devs, considering they (understandably) can't commit man-power to the addition of new organisations, but it is a tad bit annoying.

Machines do have the white room though. I've seen screenshots of meetings held in there.

Us Zionites just gotta make do with whatever. But then again, how can we have a "home base" when we don't really consider the Matrix our "home" anyway?

Still, it'd be cool to have Niobe teleport us all to a Construct version of Zion.

Sounds good, but actually goes a bit against the story mission for Zion where The Kid says
that their recruits will come from not only Zion, but Merovingians and Machines.  Anyone
who believes in what Neo believes in.
