You know... you really made me stop and think. I'm gonna get back to you on that. At any rate I was refering initially more to their purpose. Were they created to operate within the parameters of the matrix? Or were they created for some other purpose and so didn't have a code-structure compatible with the matrix that required them to be shoe-horned into an RSI to be there. (Thus their code would be different to Neo).
